“Great hidden find. But wait it's been there five years. Okay, maybe i'm at the fastest, in getting around.
But we were looking for something that had vegan, gluten, free food. Better Man Distilling came up. Passing by said, this is the place? Yes.
Inside, we were greeted to a very nostalgic eclectic combination of decorum that neat, clean and spacious.
A friendly server greeted us and nicely explained the variety of drinks and foods that were offered as well as his recommendations.
Ordering a number of these which were tweaked to our particular palate. They arrived and looked beautiful and tasted great.
The spinach and artichoke dip with the pita breads, was outstanding. A variety of drinks were hand created too perfection.
Please don't tell anyone because I don't want it to get too overcrowded.

“Had an AMAZING brunch at Sunflower Cafe. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Our server, Cayla, was fabulous, every suggestion she made was on point and she was so friendly and attentive. Met the owner, who stopped by and chatted with us, this is a family run business and everything including the delicious desserts are made on premises. I can’t wait to go back for dinner, it is quite a ride for me but well worth the trip! This place will NOT disappoint!!“

“The food was amazing and very filling, i think the portion for the price is a good deal. My three birria tacos and small horchata was $19. As i was sitting down after ordering a lady was already bringing chips and salsa. The cashier Noah was always ready to help you even if he was busy with another task. “First time here. Made reservations. Table was ready. Bar is very small. Food was good. Service was excellent. Had the special flounder fillet with shrimp. It was good. Fish was ok. Rice balls were delicious. Restaurant is in a house. Very quaint.“

Their seafood is fresh and delicious. I actually drive further to go to them and pass other seafood stores on my way, but they are definitely worth a trip. “While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! The food is extremely fresh and there is a great sense of pride in their product. We loved our experience here and we will absolutely return when we come back in August!!“

“Great drinks (they always taste fresh), great employees (they’re always kind and always make my orders perfectly well, and I come here VERY often). However, more staff definitely needs to be hired. Some afternoons there is only one person making the drinks, and I end up having to wait 20-30 minutes. This is NOT the employee’s fault, they can clearly be seen working as fast as humanly possible. Having two people per shift (especially afternoons and nights) is definitely necessary.“

“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

“Been going to Joel's bagels forever! Rolando and family are such beautiful people, warm, welcoming, and funny. I moved to patchogue some years back and began the hunt for a good bagel spot. I walked in and couldn't believe how friendly everyone was. Instantly it became my #1 go-to. The food is tasty and the people treat you like family. Now I'm a few towns over and worth the trip back each and every time!“
