“Could have sworn I wrote a review for TJ's many moons ago. This was, of course, before they moved locations from Main Street to Washington. Not sure if the review was lost in the move. Regardless it's time to shout out a family favorite. My husband grew up going to TJ's. Ironically, I wasn't much of a sandwich person until the Hubs came along. And what was once a regular thing for us is now a treat. Hub's go to is a Chicken Supreme with American cheese and Mayo. Me...I bounce around. Some days I'll get a Tuna hero, and other days it's the Super Club or the #25 cold Italian hero with the works and Mayo. The bread is delicious. They put the right amount of meats/cheese which I can appreciate a nice, not overstuffed sandwich sometimes. Also the iced tea. Classic deli iced tea. Hard to find a good one these days. TJ's has stayed the same and continues to be one of the best. These days I get the unsweetened mango tea and it's just as good. What was once a tiny sandwich shop, is now a nice size convenient store which features some household items, a few groceries and lottery tickets. The staff...some of them have been there as long as I can remember. This is a local biz that I think the community would be crushed if they ever leave. They really are the best here, and have even helped me carry a ton of sandwiches to the car while doing a pickup with the kid. TJ's...one of the most underrated spots in LI but prob the best sandwich shop on the Island. If you didn't know, now you do!“
“Okay, so I had an idea, and this place came thru in a major way. It was raining and extremely cold outside, and 90٪ of my staff is females. I figured let me treat both lunch shifts to pizza. However, this thought did now come to play until an hour before the first lunch shift. I went over to the shop and ordered 5 pies(veg,pep,3xplain), and the guy said he would have it ready for me before my first crew's lunch. He did, and it was hot. Then I ordered for the second shift, and they came through. But I needed an extra pie. This time, there was a lady at the register she took the whole pie from the display and made it happen for me. I truly appreciated this place, and the quality was on point.“
“I discovered this gem by googling pizza near the airport. The pizza ? was very good. The garlic knots were some of the best I ever had. We then ended the meal with Zepooles with Nutella. Very good. However, equally important as the food are the owners! They were so welcoming and friendly. This is my new go-to spot after a flight. Can't wait to taste more of the various menu items. They serve breakfast as well.“
“I just ordered from this place, I used to go to proportions all the time to get my salads, or meals before this place came around. I’m not too sure if they changed things around or if they updated the place but it’s exactly like proportions! The salads were absolutely delicious, and the size portions were massive! Can’t get any better than this place, it’s a little costly but it’s worth it for its size and quality! It’s super fresh, and I love how they give you a lot of options when it comes to toppings making it gluten free, and vegan friendly!I highly recommend!“
“Ordered via UberEats, got the cheese jalapeno pupusas and bean pupusas, veggie burrito and shrimp wrap for my Pops. Pops loved the wrap and Maranon drinks were yummy!! I wish the veggie burrito was tastier but it just tasted...healthy not savory. Also, I did get a bad case of diarrhea BUT I think that was just my body reacting to the jalapeno and sweet Maranon juice mixed together. Won't do that again lol I'll b back for the taco salad cuz I missed that one!!“
“As an Italian raised kid who has always stayed loyal to a pizzeria I would take a slice from D’matteos any time and day. There is a beautiful combination of ingredients that allows for the ability to make a crispy or soft slice depending on your preference, and most importantly the selection of toppings is unmatched and the quality of them is of the highest. Also, the balancing of the toppings is perfect to ensure you don’t feel too full to get through a slice but it also isn’t too little to where you don’t feel satisfied after eating. The Italian authenticity is exquisite and I will absolutely continue to support this family run pizzeria.“
“I ordered the All American. My husband got the Classic Steak. (It was eaten before I could snap a pic!) They were both delicious, fresh and packed with meat! The bread is sooooooo good. Great service, great value and a buy one get one half off coupon! We will definitely be back!“

“We went in on a Sunday midday and even though there was a line it went fast. Our waitress Dee was very helpful filling our order. I had a problem with my burger and management was very thoughtful and made sure they redid it to my liking. For great and thoughtful place to eat go here.“
