Carl was really kind and gave us a tour of the menu and the care that's put into the chosen ingredients. Nice, clean ambiance indoors, as well as an outdoor area. The burger and fries were great. “Let’s be honest. The interior is outdated and leaves a lot to be desired, and the parking lot is a complete mess. However, the customer service is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was.Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and well served. I would personally appreciate a larger menu and having the able pizza types on display to make the ordering process easier. This really seems like a “dial in” joint and it would be nicer if more tables were able to sit. But, given the quality of the pizza, I would happily stop in again.Parking: While spots are available, there is no depth to the parking lot. There is limited visibility on a busy road which depending on the time of day, may or may not be worth the effort.“
“I just had the best chicken pot pie ever. I purchased it at Sapowski Farm store in Granby, MA. I am going to look into if the pies are sold anywhere else because Sapowski’s is closed for the season. Again the best chicken pot pie ever!“
“Asked for extra garlic on half of a large pizza. They actually put slices of garlic on it! ❤️ Slices of garlic! ❤️ I was expecting the usual processed minced garlic, but nope, they sliced garlic to put on my pizza. I'm really impressed. And the pizza was amazing!“
“This is my favorite go to place for an easy and relaxing dinner and drinks. The crowd is fun, the food is great, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The soups are homemade and the potato skins are great too. The photo below was an amazing Shepherd’s Pie.“
“This is one of the best pizzerias in ny outside of nyc !And the owner "iron man" is a true gentleman, he will sit and converse with patrons and make them feel like family. Deffinitly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking except for Friday and Saturday nights it tends to get quite crowded. A true sign of delicious food!“
“We've ordered for pickup up twice and both times the food was phenomenal. So far we have had the Cuban sandwich, Ox Tail Stew, and Chicharron de Cerdo. The food was fresh and seasoned excellently. Finger licking good. They are priced fairly and they are generous with the portions. Very pleased with Tavern on 52. We are making them out go to spot and would highly recommend them to everyone.“
“The workers in the front are always so accommodating, and sweet. The decoration in there are always so welcoming and aesthetically pleasing! The coffee is consistent with their taste and has a perfect amount of ice in it!! They also have a large variety of sandwiches and drinks!! Definitely a new bright spot in pawling that I would love to take my friends to hangout with!!“
