“My boyfriend and I love coming here when we get to come out on Saturdays. The sweetest sweetest waitress, a Greek girl. A girl of my country is our favorite waitresss Collia. I hope i'm spelling it right I don't think I am! She is our favorite and we're so happy every time we get her There is Nothing that I've had tht is bad. The burgers are amazing. The pizza is amazing , the salad Dressing is amazing. I love the zings wings ! From the minute you walk in there, it smells delicious and so cozy you get your own personal booth. “This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !“
“I stop here every now and then when I'm driving upstate to my brother's place by Rhinebeck. Him and his wife and kids (lots of kids) are all vegan, so I can generally get a good variety of treats for the house. The bakery products always look lovely and the store's overall aesthetic is very nice, but I find the actual taste and flavors to be very hit or miss- some things are excellent, some very mediocre- but there's so few vegan options upstate, so this spot is certainly filling a void. However, the staff very frequently are unwelcoming, sometimes to the point of outright rudeness. They seem to treat their paying customers in a very snobbish manner for some reason, which is unfortunate. I often walk out wondering why the overall experience was so strange, but I guess it's just something that you have to live with if you want to have a vegan dessert in the Hudson Valley.“
“A fun place to dine with friends or family. The menu has something for everyone. The appetizers were good and well portioned to leave room for a main meal. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pace of everything was good. The holiday themed martini's were a delight. A good experience overall and we would go back again.Parking: There are two lots, both shared with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: We went during lunch hour and it was definitely appropriate/kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp and wide doors to get inside. The seating could be arranged to accommodate a wheel chair or walker.“
“When you walk in, you are greeted immediately and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The food was absolutely stellar. I had a grilled octopus special for an app that was cooked to perfection followed by the half rack of lamb that was so juicy and delicious. The sauce was incredible..not only is the food 5 star, watching the staff work together was quite lovely. They seem to be a true family and it is a welcome sight to see. Highly recommend this establishment and kudos to the staff and kitchen.“
“We love Annabelle's. The staff are pleasant, accomodating, fast moving and simply fabulous. We stop in most weekends for breakfast and often pick up a treat for the next morning. Many folks are unaware of the fabulous breakfast sandwiches they whip up. Think asiago bagel with lox and fresh scallion cream cheese, or an everything bagel toasted with fried eggs, delicious bacon, cheddar cheese and avocado for good measure. Our best weekends begin or end with a visit to Annabelle's. It is well worth going out of your way for. They also make fabulous, reasonably priced cakes (decorated following special requests. I got one with a biplane for my husband who has a background in aeronautical engineering!). Thank you Ann and friends at Annabelle's bake shop!“
“Smokey Rock BBQ provided a satisfactory experience during the Christmas party I attended. The atmosphere was festive and cozy, fitting for the occasion. The barbecue offerings were decent, with a variety of options to choose from. While the food was tasty, it didn't necessarily wow me. The brisket was tender and season pretty well. Service was adequate, it was family style and the staff was on top of drinks and clearing. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience for a holiday gathering, but nothing particularly memorable.“
