“Smokey Rock BBQ provided a satisfactory experience during the Christmas party I attended. The atmosphere was festive and cozy, fitting for the occasion. The barbecue offerings were decent, with a variety of options to choose from. While the food was tasty, it didn't necessarily wow me. The brisket was tender and season pretty well. Service was adequate, it was family style and the staff was on top of drinks and clearing. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience for a holiday gathering, but nothing particularly memorable.“
“My family and I dined here last evening. Do yourself a solid and order the duck confit potatoes, if that’s your pleasure. We enjoyed our food, the desserts were delightful—-especially the lemon tarte. The staff was attentive and brought my sister a birthday treat. Cozy ambiance and relaxed pacing.“
“This place is foodie HEAVEN! Everything you want from a great restaurant this place has. Nice and tucked away off a main road. You immediately feel like you're dining inside of somebody's home. Gorgeous inside and outside seating. Changing menu always exquisitely thought out. The chef is always bringing new recipes/ingredients from places he travels to. This place is the best way to have a fine dining experience!“
“We had the family here for the first time last night. We started with the Calamari and the Housemade Ricotta. Both were wonderful. Then our party ordered The NY strip, the steak frites, a pecan encrusted rack of lamb (a special that night), the pappardelle bolognese, and the Burger. Everything was tasty and perfectly prepared EXACTLY as we ordered. The strip was between medium and medium rare and a high quality steak. The frites were perfect. The pappardelle was fresh made and the sauce outstanding. The lamb was served with a chimmichurri and had 6 chops that were excellent. The Burger was a sight to see. It was large and pink and great. Then we had practically one of everything for dessert which was the end to a perfect night. The service COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. We had one main server, Lily, who was professional and got everything right (Definitely ask for her) and a handful of other servers during the night that were attentive and professional. The kitchen is in full view of every table and was great to watch. The room was comfortable and the ambiance helped make the night special. Highly recommend this for a dinner you can count on as being one of the best.“
“The boys got burgers and dogs but the veggie stack is for me. It was so so good! Sliced mushrooms, sweet potato with crispy Swiss and an avocado-bean spread. The salad was lightly dressed and also very good. The boys loved their burgers and the big bucket of fries! In a matter of fact, they kept reordering them The hubby also got the "dirty" hot dogs but he said they were nothing to write home about. All in all the place is great. The tables are a bit small but the staff is kind and friendly. I heard they're opening another Buns in Eastdale and I'm sure they will do well.“
“Blown away! I had low expectations. Had a plain bagel, un toasted, no butter or cream cheese. Excellent! Excellent bite resistance and chew. Flavor was right in, good malt along with a hint of salt. I then tries the multigrain bagel -- a difficult flour to work with (I bake), and these had nearly perfect crumble. Coffee was very good (flavored, sorry, just wasn't in the mood for black regular). Service -- funny, friendly. Make sure to meet Jeremy, the owner. Ambiance: 21st Century bagel store. Comfortable seating, nit cramped.“
“A local favorite for over 50 years, FOSTER’S is great. The menu is solid and their famous London Broil whether you get the sandwich or full dinner, it’s always a good meal. The service is spot on and very friendly. Fun local energy too.“
“This restaurant is such a cute date spot or night out! The ambiance and decor is super cute and the food is also really good! We made reservations so we got seated right away. For appetizers, we got the clam chowder which was a special and it was pretty solid. Really generous chunks of clam which was surprising. For entrees, we got the rigatoni and the caprina pizza. The rigatoni is popular here but we honestly loved the pizza way more. It was so unique and different and I highly recommend getting it! The rigatoni was okay, but the peas were undercooked so they were a bit crunchy. I honestly think the rigatoni was our least favorite thing the whole night. The dessert however was sooo good. We got the butterscotch budino and it was so so good. Definitely try it if you're here! Overall, definitely recommend this place for a night out or if you're visiting the area. We were visiting for the weekend and it was definitely the best food we had.“
“My son and I went there this morning as a place to kill time. We enjoyed our food there but I really want to thank the two amazing ladies that were there working. When my son needed to run around and play they let him, they're won't rude but instead kind to me and Ej. They understood and said kids will be kids don't stress. They were just very sweet people and I'll always appreciate them. Thank you and I'm sorry I didn't catch your names.“
“Alex welcomed us and showed us to a lovely table. Patrick took very good care of us. The wine and dinner were great. Potscrubbers were delicious and the vegetarian dish was scrumptious. Thank you all at Terrapin for a lovely Easter dinner. We'll be back soon. Joan and Randy“
“Best veggie burger I've ever had and the fries are incredible as well! Wish I grabbed some chicken soup while I was there. The owner was so friendly and had great energy. He gave us a few recommendations for our trip and both were amazing!“
“The beautiful old Beekman Arms Hotel and Tavern are jewels of Dutchess County. We are loyal customers and dine here frequently. The mussels and fish are always fresh, the meat (mostly from local farms) is very tender and tasty, and the drinks are made by a talented bartender. No tiny martinis here! For this dinner the three of us ordered shrimp stuffed with crabmeat accompanied by risotto, a standard menu item. As appetizers we ordered onion soup and mushroom toast with salad (to share). Excellent! During peak holiday weekends the noise level can rise and the wait staff can become overextended. But that's to be expected almost everywhere.“
“Went here last night for drinks and small bites. The vibe is perfect and decor is gorgeous. Our mixologist was perfect and fun to watch , he made us a “don’t go until you get some” and “never fully dressed” which were perfection. We ordered the squash bread as well as shrimp cocktail and both were delicious. The perfect date spot. Don’t pass this place up if you have a chance to go!“
