Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“

I specifically told our server that I wanted it medium rare but he stated that the could only serve it medium which I agreed to. When it came out it was more than well done and dry. Even the server recognized this. I sent it back. We raise lamb and would hope it is prepared in a way that consumers enjoy this an alternative to other meat. The key is a proper preparation. If someone had not had lamb before, they would probably not order it again if this is the dish they were presented.“

“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. “What's not to love? This Wappingers spot is right in town, they serve up tasty food, quality beverages, and the staff will treat you well. The bar is quite nice, and definitely clean. Even better, when it's nice outside, there's an adorable back deck that's perfect for sipping a cider, or one of their serious selection of craft beers on tap. There are also cocktails available, but they seem to truly care about the tap selection. Right now they've got a 16% ABV stout out of Brooklyn on tap, which is downright dangerous. This seems like the rare bar that not only fries things well, but it also cares about the rest of its menu too. No one is ever sad about bang bang shrimp and chicken fingers and fries (we order like adults around here), but the salads are very solid as well. There are even vegetarian and vegan options for your friends who aren't quite as meaty (technical term). And that's all I have to say about that.“

“Yesterday, my sorority alumni met at Maggie Mae's for our fall luncheon. My seat had the perfect view of changing fall leaves. The weather here on Long Island was absolutely horrible. When I set out on my road trip upstate, I almost turned around and went home. I am so glad that I didn't! Not only did I share some funny memories and have some good laughs with my sisters of all ages, but I had an incredible lunch, followed by a dessert that almost literally blew me away! I'll post the pictures, but I'll tell you that I had a delicious chicken francaise with asparagus and the most wonderful mashed potatoes. I saved most of the potatoes for last, with a fair bit of the sauce. I only wish that I had brought a rubber scraper with me so I could get every last delicious speck of mashed potatoes. Then came my favorite part: dessert! The menu describesit as a rich chocolate Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting. Yelp reader, I am a Guinness girl. However, I could not begin to conceptualize how the two flavors would work together. Not only did they work together wonderfully, but the cream cheese frosting put an interesting sweet little twist on the flavor. I have a terrible sweet tooth. and when I find a sweet that I like, I just can't get enough of it. I wish I could have another piece of that cake right now...“

Party platter, Chicken BLT, Mac Truck burger or Nachos with Chili is what I usually get. A Guinness is always available and great smiles from all the servers and bartenders. Brings back some fond memories of being a chef and cook who had worked in several of food establishments! I had the 12 ounce burger with French fries and American cheese. Burger was cooked to perfection well done. Fries had good flavor. Sampling the onion rings and salad for appetizers while awaiting main course. “The market: Quite simply the only place worth going for seafood, fresh or prepared, within 50 miles. I come from San Francisco and grew up going to places like this, its one par with SF or Monterey seafood joints. If you're wanting someting special, if you call ahead and give them a few days, they can get you just about anything, including bulk quantity for events/catering. So happy this place is only 25 min from home.The Restaurant: This is not a fancy seafood restaurant, its a seafood joint. There is a difference. Think paper plates and curly fries. Better for a quick bite than a fancy occasion.“

“I have played the course for fundraiser activities but have never stopped by just for a meal. I've been here two times in one month for lunch just recently and I highly recommend. Chicken pesto with tomato and mozzarella paninni is outstanding. Everthing is superfresh and very tasty. My friends had the shrimp with avocado wrap and said the same. It was quite busy and therefore the service was slow(they seemed a little shorthanded) but she was extremely pleasant. Of course the Atmosphere is uncomparably beautiful.“
