“Prepared by the best chefs!“

“We visited on a Friday afternoon in late June 2025. There were plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot when we arrived. There were a few that were shaded by trees but they were all taken.

The restaurant is located near the bathrooms around the corner from the information desk when you first enter. Just go in and head towards the right hallway.

We didn't actually eat here but I stepped in quick to check it out while everyone was going to the restroom.

There were a number of tables and bench seating and it looked like there was outside seating as well under a large pavilion roof. It looked like there was enough space to move in between the tables nicely with a wheelchair or stroller.

The food prices are higher than you expect but normal for a museum cafeteria like this at a tourist attraction. It looked like they had food options for picky eaters as well. Large selection of premade sandwiches and salads so you can just grab and go if you're in a hurry. The food did look fresh and not like it had been sitting there for days.

Overall the visitor center was a great place to visit. There was so much more we could've done here and explored but we were short on time. I think if we were ever in the area again we would visit and I wouldn't' hesitate to grab some food here either.“

“I want to thank Coppolas for hosting my sisters burial lunch. This was a tough day and you guys were a great host with awesome food. You allowed us to stay long and even put a table out for us, for my sisters pictures. Everyone was from out of town and gave us time to catch up without feeling rushed I appreciate it so much! everyone raved about the food and especially the SAUCE!! “The Anchorage is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Kingston the service, the food, everything about it makes you feel like it’s a home-cooked and the warmth of the people make you wanna keep coming back. Especially the bartender Stephanie she’s become like a home away from home. She makes the best original drinks. “Stonehedge has always been a favorite restaurant for our family. Unfortunately due to life circumstances we hadn’t been there for a couple of years. My husband and I decided to end the drought and went to celebrate our anniversary and we are so glad we did. Everything was even better than we remembered it. It started with the delicious and wonderfully fresh dinner rolls that we’ve always loved. The French onion soup was the best I’ve had in ages (I’m a French onion soup snob😂) and the baked stuffed clams were just as my husband remembered them. The dinner salad with the house dressing was cold and fresh, and we highly recommend the double cut pork chop and the jumbo shrimp francaise as dinner entrees. We both left full and more than satisfied - they never disappoint! Thank you to the folks at Stonehedge for the great meal and good service. It felt like we were coming home! We promise you’ll see us again soon.“

“Me and my family had dinner on a busy Saturday night. Service and food were on point. Extremely attentive staff. You could tell that the host, waitress and bartender and every other employee took pride in what they did. Excellent environment and menu for all. We cannot wait to go back!“

“It's so nice to be able to walk 5 minutes from my house and get such a great breakfast. I always order 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and they come out fast on fresh hard rolls with delicious crispy bacon. It's better and much cheaper than that other popular deli in poughkeepsie. Oh yeah!“

“Great options for my entire family for all meals of the day.
Whether eating in the Cafe or getting take-out we're always happy with the service from the staff. My wife needs gluten free options and this is our favorite place in the area to reliably have great options.

My personal favs are an omelet with spinich, tomato, and feta cheese for breakfast or the fresh caprese sandwich (sometimes I add a burger patty) for lunch/dinner. And the homefries are AMAZING.“

“The previous owners were great. The current ones are nice people and trying their best to fill in the previous shoes ? Great food btw and service. 4 stars but they got an additional bonus star ? for giving me their Aloe Vera pup so I can grow my own Aloe plant ?. “We drove from fishkill after my mom’s chemo treatment in pok … we haven’t been here in a while because it is a drive but we were in pok and we were in the mood for different. We were very happy with the food everything was great we just weren’t happy with the service, we had to ask multiple times for Splenda, the waitress spilled the milk and I used my napkins, she never gave us extra (she had them in her apron) I had to call her over for some then she was taking the finished plates and dropped the butter knife on my mothers foot and never apologized and seen it fall and looked under the table . not sure if the waitress was a bit off her game but we decided to enjoy the food.“

“Fireside catered our daughter’s wedding with a BBQ buffet & it was perfect! Food arrived hot & fresh & our servers were very professional. I have been to weddings where they have run out of food-definitely NOT the case with Fireside! Generous portions & we even had leftovers. Highly recommend!“

“I've been eating here since it opened many years ago. Lots of variety and everything I've tried has been good. My only complaint is that the price is above average for diners in the area, but it's also higher class so that's not surprising.“

They also do a fun trivia night. Bartenders personalities also add to the vibe which is usually upbeat and fun.“

“Your typically delicious, classic, homey diner with your favorite waitresses and old-style diner looks. A tiny place with a large indoor atmosphere and there's always someone you know or have seen before... It's familiar all-diners-menu-food but their specials are just that: special. “Best place on campus for a proper meal. Quality varies a lot depending on who's cooking, but there are some things that are very consistent.Most things can be ordered using the meal plans pick 3 option (for those who don't know that's using a meal swipe for one main item, a drink, and a side).Wait time will be different depending on what you order. Usually burgers are very fast, pizza takes a bit longer, and Rossie's or noodles takes the longest (during busy times over 30 minutes).Speaking of Rossie's, if you've had the real deal than don't bother getting it here. This is still Sodexo making it, they just have access to the same ingredients and recipes. Also they're missing roast beef so you can't get the best thing Rossie's has anyways.Very strong vegetarian options if you don't mind eating the same thing a lot. The tofu for the noodles isn't anything to write home about and sometimes you'll need to break it up and let it warm up in the broth for a bit, but it's still pretty dang good.Top choices would be:1. Noodles, or oodles as they call it for some unknown reason.2. Pizza. Just make sure one of the good people is there to make it.3. Burger, they're not great but you'll get the same thing every time4. Rossie's. It's still pretty good, just not close to the real thing.“

“This sports bar is absolutely incredible. The place itself is so nice with a really cool setup that makes it fun whether you’re there to watch a game or just hang out. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the food always comes out quickly—which is a huge plus. We’ve eaten here multiple times and have never once been disappointed. It’s a family-friendly, local spot with an awesome atmosphere and a great beer selection. They’re always rotating their beers, so it’s a fun place to try something new every visit. “The shrimp Rasta pasta is really so good also the Mac and cheese .. But I can’t say the same abt the oxtail plate I got with rice and peas and yams …. Expensive dish to only get 4 small oxtails .. the yams was flavorless the best thing was rice peas even tho it coulda some more gravy. But I’m willing to always give another chance“

“I went on 10/22/2024 to the location on Albany Street in Poughkeepsie N.Y. Today is my mom Birthday we had a party of seven. When we arrived we were told they don't have big table for our size party. They managed to add a table. The food was a 1.5 Everyone fries were over cooked the chicken was dry not a bit of Honey was tasted on the sandwiches. Tap water warm little to barely no ice. It took over 30 minutes to receive our meals no bread sticks salad nothing offered while we waited. It was a HORRIBLE DINNER. We asked if they have any Bday specials were told No. Do you sing Happy Birthday No. Mind you we were told by the person that recommended the place said they do sing Happy Birthday. I'm starting to feel it was a racial situation. Yet we still left tips. The Family had to go find Food upon leaving. The server was great it was her second day. I wish her well“

Hopefully Chili's does all they can to keep her here. We had the nachos, appetizer trio and a salad. “So me and my family are up here this weekend for my wife's college reunion thing and she suggested Applebee's. It's close by the college and we wanted some good food before we head back to the hotel. Our waitress was phenomenal. I can't give her enough praise, attentive, patient (there was nine of us), plus she served two other tables around us. I gotta say the food wasn't as good as I had hoped. To me it's a hit or miss with boneless or regular wings. Either they're too saucy or not enough sauce. These were too saucy and my pasta was too saucy as well. My wife complained about the chip being stale as well. The ambience was good. Wasn't too to crowded but with a big family we bring the crowd with us usually. The staff was definitely accommodating so I really enjoy that.

Kid-friendliness: This was definitely a family friendly vibe as more families were there versus single people at the bar.“
