“Cafe Mio is a lovely treasure in Gardiner, NY. They serve breakfast and lunch, and do it fabulously! The blackened catfish sandwich was delicious and the pulled pork sandwich looked messy and wonderful and also was said to be delicious. Most sandwiches come with a lovely green salad but fries are also available, and they are sinfully scrumptious. Very very friendly staff and plenty of parking“

“What an amazing place. We came without a reservation at the suggestion of our innkeeper and had the most delicious meal. The staff was accommodating ( did I mention it was Hudson Valley restaurant week?) and warm. The appetizers, crispy brussel sprouts and mushroom crostini, were meals unto themselves. The pork chop was tender and flavorful with a jammy apricot covering. the pike was flaky and beautifully paired with crab salad and pickled mussels. And the dessert! Olive oil cake that beats Grandma's! Highly recommend!!Parking: Can be tricky if restaurant is full“

“If you are looking for a Great sandwich for a more then reasonable price, you have found your place. The sandwich selection is full of great options, and you won't be disappointed. The Cuban has been my go-to for a quick weekend lunch option. The staff is attentive and friendly, and one gentlemen calls me young man, even though I am sure that I am older then him which leads me to an extensional crisis while I eat my Cuban. I hope that this joint can survive in our sweet little town full of Teeny boppers and hopeless hipsters. Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from this place before our only option is a mutant meat sandwich from Amazon grown in a laboratory for 2$ a month for eternity.“

“I stumbled upon this charming tavern in Accord, NY, after a hike in Minnewaska State Park, and it turned out to be a delightful find. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the entire restaurant is spotlessly clean.Upon entering, you're greeted by a well-stocked bar offering a variety of drinks and cocktails. It was clear that this place is popular with locals, as the bar area was lively and inviting. For our meal, we tried the shredded beef brisket sandwich, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful. The Caesar salad was a refreshing complement to the sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. However, the standout dish for me was the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich—it was simply outstanding. One of the things that stood out was that all the food was made to order, ensuring freshness. I loved the overall vibe of the place, and the food was top-notch. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“

“I stopped here to get a light lunch and for a rest stop during a road trip. Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“

“I’ve visited the B-Side Grill a few times before I decided to do this review on it because I felt like they truly deserved a good one.I arrived at the B-Side Grill on a Tuesday at around 2 PM. There was a family of three as well as a group of four younger patrons also inside with room to spare in the form of booths and picnic tables and benches. It has a very apparent outdoor feel.Their menus are creative with quite a few choices covering all the key food areas like wraps, burgers and the like, but mostly standard with quite an array of breakfast items. I decided after looking to try one of the signature Wraps called the Method Man which consisted of Mozzarella, baby spinach, homemade bruschetta, roasted peppers under a balsamic reduction. They also possess some other neat wraps named My Cousin Vinny (Philly Cheese), Apple Bottom Greens (Turkey, apples, bacon, cheddar cheese, chipotle mayo, greens and tomatoes), etc. There is certainly something for everyone on their menu!I was greeted right away and my order was taken almost immediately by a nice young man. He was extremely courteous and attentive during my visit. Each time I’ve visited (maybe 6 times), the entire staff has always been extremely friendly, courteous, and fairly efficient.Compared to others with similar appeal and menus I would say they are more affordable. The chicken fingers (3) and fries at the time was $8.95 & my “Method Man” wrap (and all wraps) was $12.95.The theme inside is quite obviously music being the main ingredient as you can see in the photos. Records everywhere, vintage pieces that give it a real nice design. For me, I enjoyed the atmosphere, but I did give that portion only four stars because it was a bit busy and perhaps maybe looked at as slightly over the top. I would prefer a little more of a clean look and probably keep the ceiling clear. After briefly looking over the extensive menu, I decided to order a Method Man wrap which is one of their signature wraps, as well as some chicken fingers appetizer. I know the wrap is simple enough to make but both came out at the same time and I wasn’t asked what I prefer. Both orders came with a nice sized portion of fries, which I must say are much better than many I’ve tasted at other restaurants . They were not oily or salty, cooked just right for my taste. The Method Man is absolutely delicious and the wrap itself is quite big with only finishing half and taking half home after eating all of the chicken fingers and one order of fries. It is easy to see that all the veggie parts of my wrap as well as the cheese was super fresh, light and very tasty. The chicken fingers were definitely on the upper level of quality as compared to all the others that I’ve had before. Cooked correct and brought to the table with the right temperature so I could eat soon after it arrived.I would absolutely recommend both dishes. On other occasions I’ve usually had breakfast, which in my opinion is what this small venue is known in town for. They always have a large number of take out orders lined up and are usually very busy in that regard. It does contain a small bathroom for customers which I thought was very good, stocked well. I would just recommend they do weekly dusting at the top since it was very apparent they had not. However, the restaurant in general was very clean and seemed well taken care of.I left feeling full, leftovers in hand and my wallet wasn’t much lighter at all.If you are in the town of New Paltz and on Main Street I would absolutely recommend them for breakfast and perhaps lunch!“

“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“

Chicken pesto with tomato and mozzarella paninni is outstanding. Everthing is superfresh and very tasty. My friends had the shrimp with avocado wrap and said the same. It was quite busy and therefore the service was slow(they seemed a little shorthanded) but she was extremely pleasant. Of course the Atmosphere is uncomparably beautiful.“

“Yesterday, my sorority alumni met at Maggie Mae's for our fall luncheon. My seat had the perfect view of changing fall leaves. The weather here on Long Island was absolutely horrible. When I set out on my road trip upstate, I almost turned around and went home. I am so glad that I didn't! Not only did I share some funny memories and have some good laughs with my sisters of all ages, but I had an incredible lunch, followed by a dessert that almost literally blew me away! I'll post the pictures, but I'll tell you that I had a delicious chicken francaise with asparagus and the most wonderful mashed potatoes. I saved most of the potatoes for last, with a fair bit of the sauce. I only wish that I had brought a rubber scraper with me so I could get every last delicious speck of mashed potatoes. Then came my favorite part: dessert! The menu describesit as a rich chocolate Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting. Yelp reader, I am a Guinness girl. However, I could not begin to conceptualize how the two flavors would work together. Not only did they work together wonderfully, but the cream cheese frosting put an interesting sweet little twist on the flavor. I have a terrible sweet tooth. and when I find a sweet that I like, I just can't get enough of it. I wish I could have another piece of that cake right now...“
