“Temple Hill Tavern is a great place for family events. Paul and Mark are outstanding. I have had a couple of events at the Tavern. I have never been disappointed. The staff is accommodating, attentive and take the worry away. Temple hill is a permanent go to spot in my book.“

“I ordered the Lamb over rice and it was really good. Almost as good as in NYC. I wish they would put some fries or fried shrimp, like the food carts in the city. I've also tried their fried chicken, skin crispy with nice flavor and juicy insides. I def recommend this place. “I ate here a couple days ago while on vacation and everyone loved it. Big servings and low cost. Great atmosphere and very friendly owners and staff. Most of my group had been here several times. I can't wait to get back. I got the I-84 garden salad with house dressing. It was the perfect meal for me. Excellent dressing and veges.“

“Lyonshare has quickly risen to be one of our top restaurants in Beacon.

The dishes are consistently ideally prepared, the drinks are perfectly mixed, the staff - literally each one - is friendly and knowledgeable and chill. The ambiance is the right mix of elegant and laid back. Only drawbacks to note are the limited availability at times (definitely make a reservation) and the prices (on the higher range for Beacon, which is not a cheap spot to begin with).

So we save it for our occasional date spot, and are thankful it arrived in town. Keep doing what you do, folks. Chef's kiss.“

“Had a great experience here! The food was delicious with that classic American comfort food vibe, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Tammy, was especially outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed and really helped make the experience enjoyable. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

Parking and restrooms were very good. Neighborhood was a little sketchy saw homeless people looking for cans and asking for change in the parking lot. Overall was good and average place.“

“The burgers are INSANE, a must order. I loved my caramelized onion/French onion, burger, and the brunch burger with fried egg, both were delicious, probably top burger I ever had.

The regular size fry $6 was huge and way more then enough to share for 2 hungry adults

I recently went on (04/05) for my 31st birthday and I wanted to say I was astounded by the flavor and composition of my special. I ordered the rabbit. As someone who cherishes local and seasonal ingredients, this menu item was a slam dunk. Between the rabbit, the mustard greens and the delightful dancing of purple radish on my plate…I was beyond satiated by the balance and beauty of this dish. Hats off to the chef who designed this and those who executed it. It was amazing. And I’ve been telling everyone about it at work. Thank you for giving me a culinary memorable moment, it meant a LOT!“

“We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. “Oh what a lovely experience! There are little gifts for the Who-fandom scattered throughout the space, which is so welcoming and airy. I spent ages just looking around and fangirling! The person who took our orders was so sweet and so knowledgeable and we loved everything we ordered. They have vegan, vegetarian and GF options so it’s really inclusive.
