“Temple Hill Tavern is a great place for family events. Paul and Mark are outstanding. I have had a couple of events at the Tavern. I have never been disappointed. The staff is accommodating, attentive and take the worry away. Temple hill is a permanent go to spot in my book.“

“I ordered the Lamb over rice and it was really good. Almost as good as in NYC. I wish they would put some fries or fried shrimp, like the food carts in the city. I've also tried their fried chicken, skin crispy with nice flavor and juicy insides. I def recommend this place. “I ate here a couple days ago while on vacation and everyone loved it. Big servings and low cost. Great atmosphere and very friendly owners and staff. Most of my group had been here several times. I can't wait to get back. I got the I-84 garden salad with house dressing. It was the perfect meal for me. Excellent dressing and veges.“

“Excellent food and service!!! We were sent by hotel front desk and they were right! Great soups and swordfish and chicken dishes. Inside is very clean and updated. Give it a try! Prices are very reasonable and service is exceptional ?“

“From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. We were seated within a minute and greeted immediately by a friendly, attentive server who offered to walk us through the specials and made sure we had everything we needed.

Service was impressively well paced—our appetizers arrived within minutes, and our main courses followed shortly after we finished them. It was clear the staff was attentive and communicating well with the kitchen.

The food was outstanding. My steelhead trout over couscous was cooked perfectly, and my wife’s New York strip steak was equally excellent. The homemade biscuits are a must—slightly sweet and completely unique.

We finished with a fun dessert: a root beer float for me and a great after-dinner drink for my wife. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy our meal, and the live piano and bass playing jazz added a wonderful touch.

The bill was very reasonable, and we left completely satisfied.

“What a great diner! We were staying in Fishkill for a couple nights and chose to eat at Red Line Diner both nights. Our waiters Drew on Friday and then Dario on Saturday night were awesome. I recently went on (04/05) for my 31st birthday and I wanted to say I was astounded by the flavor and composition of my special. I ordered the rabbit. As someone who cherishes local and seasonal ingredients, this menu item was a slam dunk. Between the rabbit, the mustard greens and the delightful dancing of purple radish on my plate…I was beyond satiated by the balance and beauty of this dish. Hats off to the chef who designed this and those who executed it. It was amazing. And I’ve been telling everyone about it at work. Thank you for giving me a culinary memorable moment, it meant a LOT!“

Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“
