“We went for dinner on a Friday and it was busy but not packed. Food was amazing, service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. It is a very busy diner but we didnt have to wait for a table as I saw some of the larger parties having to. Theres plenty of parking. Pricing is slightly higher than some of the other diners in the area but the food quality more than justifies that. Highly recommend!“

“Had the fried oyster mushrooms with vegan aioli (instead of the honey mustard, potato salad and corn muffin with vegan butter (which they double checked for me). So good and half left over. Warm and friendly service, gets very full and very loud so go early if you want a quieter dining experience. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-01“

“Cucina was kind enough to accommodate a last minute birthday. They were busy on a Friday night, so would recommend a reservation. Drinks were great if a bit pricey. Had the Halibut, which was delicious. Desert was good too, with our group splitting olive oil cake and molten chocolate cake.“

“Delicious traditional Italian food. I ordered the veal, breaded with melted mozzarella atop al dente spaghetti and a savoury red sauce. With the Italian bread it was everything I was hankering for during a meandering road trip through the Hudson River Valley starting from our hotel in lower Manhattan and between the Staten Island ferry and our hotel in downtown Albany. Great, prompt service, and a clean restaurant. Really glad we chose this establishment to dine at!“

If you care about your health and want to eat well, but simply do not have the time or skills to cook or properly prepare foods, do yourself a HUGE favor and stock your freezer with products from The Oliver Weston Company!!!!“

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“
