“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“
“It's sad that people are using a woman's business as a political battlefield but that's another story. I don't like how people throw around 5 stars these days (seems like it's either 1 or 5 - no in between). I'm leaving 5 because this is the closest thing to NYC pizza in New Paltz. And after living there for 12 years, it's the one thing I miss about that crazy city.I don't order out often - but I'm glad every time I do - a worth it splurge. Best pizza, cannolis, and homemade soup in town in my opinion.I could go on and on about the national debacle over a mural on a private business…but this is just supposed to be a review of a local pizza shop. “Bacchus Restaurant is great, If you are looking for a quick meal then this is not what you want, but if you are looking for a place that gives you time to enjoy everything they have to offer and the company you bring with you and find a place that let's you choose the pace of your choice as to give you the time to make the best of your time, if you want a little quicker pace then say so, if you want to enjoy your company and conversation along with the many amenities they have to offer please say so the servers are not mind readers and they are human (we are not perfect people) sometimes things happen and sometimes things go really well, if you feel like your not being attended to then please let someone else know, speak up, talk so you can be heard from not yelling but so someone can hear you, if you are having a good time say something let them know, if you feel like you had a not so good or bad time say something let them know, remember people it's like any other establishment it's run by people just like you and if the place has been there for over 30 years maybe more, then they must be doing something right by listening to there customers weather good or bad that's why they are still in business people, I truly love the place and the beers ? on tap served just like they did in Greece, Germany and like at temperatures between 40° & 55° degrees, remember that beer was around before refrigeration and usually to truly taste a beer on tap is to taste it above 39° if it's brewed on site or if that is the way it is supposed to be served so you can truly appreciate the taste of the beer your drinking, if you really want a cold one then order a bottled beer from the refrigerator, but please understand people give someone a chance if they messed up don't keep complaining people remember that we are human we do mess up sometimes and we learn from our mistakes or did some of you people out there forget that you once or twice messed up ,we learn from our mistakes and others that have been there, but anyway this place is FANTASTIC to me, good job Bacchus Restaurant I don't think there has been a dish I didn't like here and I try something at least once ! ! !“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“

Authentic German specialties are out of this world, everything is made with the finest ingredients and is very reasonably priced. “This is not your average old school Hudson valley ice cream shop. They take care of you like they are, but they have a modern looking building and menu and great customer service. I’m on a keto diet so I got a burger and hot dog without buns. They might not look enticing from the pictures but they were great and fit right into my diet.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my keto requests no problem. They even wrapped my burger in lettuce for me.“
