“I was just traveling through the area and had the good fortune to give this cafe a try for breakfast and I have to say it was perfect,every part of my meal was delicious. I have rarely been so satisfied with the freshness and preparation of a meal but these folks are putting in the care and work to do things right, my waffles were stellar definitely not made with pancake mix like so many mediocre restaurants do everything was well seasoned and nicely presented by an attentive staff.I garuantee you anytime I am any where near Chatham I will be dining here(I live in Maine but visit friends and relatives in the Albany area)!“

“Great Jamaican Food!!! This hidden gem in Hudson/Greenport is the place to go for authentic Jamaican dishes. The owners, Randy and Anne are delightful and really care about the quality of the food they serve. I've had every dish on their menu and each one has been delicious. Portions are generous with both lunch and dinner sizes at reasonable prices. My personal favorites are their traditional Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken and Oxtails. All served with rice and peas, plantains and veggies. In colder weather they offer a hearty soup with traditional Jamaican Spinner dumplings. Whenever they have a "special" dish I always give it a try and have not been disappointed. Just yesterday they offered a special Barbeque Chicken which was sweet and savory. I certainty hope this becomes a dish they offer regularly.They are open on Wednesdays and Fridays and are my go to place for take out Wednesday dinner. They serve out of a stationary food truck with plenty of onsite parking. Food is packed for take out and there are picnic tables with umbrellas if you'd like to eat there. They are located up on the hill overlooking Fairview Ave just a bit south of Bagel Thyme. Stop by, check it out. You will not be disappointed.

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. “Been to Lagonia's 6 times over the past month every meal has been great! The most recent we 6 people in our party had appetizers (Calamari), soup and salad with Lasagna, Eggplant parm, Veal Par, Pork chops Ala vodka with chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection french onion soup was out of this world. Everything arrived to the table in a timely manner looked great and tasted fantastic. Our waitress was very pleasant and freindly and gave great service, always there if needed but never rushed. I have ordered hamburger on previous visits and it was the best burger I've ever had, not to mention the home made french fries. Burger on the rare side crispy fries both times cooked as ordered. Can't believe that these burgers have not been voted the #1 burger in Chatham! I would HIGHLY recommend Lagonia's to all that wants a great meal.“

“My husband and I had our “night before” wedding event here back in October. It was the best night and what an incredible start to our wedding weekend. Colleen was an amazing person to work with. She was super helpful with the menu and just going over all the small details. We had dinner first with just our immediate family members And then invited friends and more family after to join us for drinks in the beer garden. It was awesome!!! My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! “Best place in the Hudson area to get Chinese food. It's consistently good, online ordering is quick and easy and it's always very clean. It's nice that whenever I go, which isn't that often, they remember my name and the staff is very friendly. Although there are some tables it's mostly a take out place. The prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for.“

“Cashew chicken was delicious. The crab ragoons are triangle shaped which I truly appreciate, it makes them easier to eat in my opinion. My friend had the beef & broccoli and Hot & sour soup, he said both were very good.

And the place was really affordable all of that was like 30$“

“The food was absolutely outstanding. The leeks in the croque madame were a really nice and delicate touch.
The French Toast is unbelievable! The inside is so soft and custard like with a hint of lemon and vanilla.
The curried lentils are really good too.
