“I was just traveling through the area and had the good fortune to give this cafe a try for breakfast and I have to say it was perfect,every part of my meal was delicious. I have rarely been so satisfied with the freshness and preparation of a meal but these folks are putting in the care and work to do things right, my waffles were stellar definitely not made with pancake mix like so many mediocre restaurants do everything was well seasoned and nicely presented by an attentive staff.I garuantee you anytime I am any where near Chatham I will be dining here(I live in Maine but visit friends and relatives in the Albany area)!“

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. “This place RIPS! Good beer, excellent renditions of the basics as far as food goes, but the fact that they HAVE FOOD! Is a huge bonus. They also have a full bar if you’re not interested in the beer. The building is beautiful, the location is perfect. If you’re looking for a unique brewery experience, especially this time of year… this place is for you. Give it a go!

“Been to Lagonia's 6 times over the past month every meal has been great! The most recent we 6 people in our party had appetizers (Calamari), soup and salad with Lasagna, Eggplant parm, Veal Par, Pork chops Ala vodka with chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection french onion soup was out of this world. Everything arrived to the table in a timely manner looked great and tasted fantastic. Our waitress was very pleasant and freindly and gave great service, always there if needed but never rushed. I have ordered hamburger on previous visits and it was the best burger I've ever had, not to mention the home made french fries. Burger on the rare side crispy fries both times cooked as ordered. Can't believe that these burgers have not been voted the #1 burger in Chatham! I would HIGHLY recommend Lagonia's to all that wants a great meal.“

“I planned a quick stop here before heading to Art Omi for a solo adventure. There have been so many great reviews that I was excited to check the place out for myself.

Customer service was excellent - friendly and helpful staff.

The building itself is beautiful! There is inside dining as well as outdoor seating on the deck, which looks out over the flowers in bloom. You can feel the history of this place in the best way possible.

On this day, it was just a quick grab and go for me, but I look forward to coming back and time to enjoy a meal.

I had to try the hashbrown, which was served with both a homemade ketchup and a homemade aioli. I had never tried aioli with a hashbrown before - and it was delicious! Chai tea was perfectly made as well. I brought the pastries home for a later treat, and they were excellent as well.

I will make sure to stop here again this summer.“

My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! I don’t know that I’ve ever been served instant before, even at chain restaurants. Despite that, the rest of my meal was tasty though.“

“Although time has left this place behind inside and out, there’s a certain local feel to this place, as unassuming as its name. I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.“

“Best place in the Hudson area to get Chinese food. It's consistently good, online ordering is quick and easy and it's always very clean. It's nice that whenever I go, which isn't that often, they remember my name and the staff is very friendly. Although there are some tables it's mostly a take out place. The prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for.“

“The food was absolutely outstanding. The leeks in the croque madame were a really nice and delicate touch.
The French Toast is unbelievable! The inside is so soft and custard like with a hint of lemon and vanilla.
The curried lentils are really good too.
The young lady helping us was very kind and sweet and made some great recommendations!“
