“It’s a owner operator business, Manuel, is a star! Went in for lunch with my good friend he was Very attentive. We had the shrimp quesadilla and chicken crunch wrap! Three different mild sauces and three different hot sauces . Their homemade hot sauce was excellent! Chorizos was spectacular! Nobody’s gonna run it the way you want it! “Giving them a 4/5 stars. The service and atmosphere was good nothing crazy to mention. There is a little sitting if you want to sit and eat but not a lot. Definitely not a prolonged eating area. Ordered cheese fries & wings. Cheese fries were delicious! Wings were good, lemon pepper was delicious but the butter garlic parm needs to be taken off the menu or revamped. It let me down tremendously, maybe no but just garlic parm ? This also mad it salty. Besides that good food“

“Chicken Holiday is nod to good juicy chicken with the comfort of home. This was just what I needed!!!! Loved it all the ambience, the service & especially the food. The owners were friendly & welcoming & the staff was welcoming & attentive. You rarely get this service anymore…. Now the food the Ribs was perfect the chicken absolutely wonderful crispy and juicy. “Our first time visiting and we are officially dubbing this our halal spot! The food was fresh and delicious. The combo over rice was a hearty sized portion, equal in lamb & chicken. And the chicken combo (make sure to add pita!) was *chefs kiss* tasty! It’s a small spot, but there are a few tables to enjoy your meal and there was plenty of customers coming in and out. 10/10 highly recommend! We will definitely be back. :)“

“I'm a foodie that drives for a living so fast food is my friend ? So lets start with the staff. I was greeted when i walked in with a welcoming attitude to the young lady's voice. I was impressed. Then i asked to use the restroom first to see what type of problems they would give me for asking to use the facilities without purchase and was hit with a polite "sure! Go ahead" . I happily said ty and once in the bathroom thats when i began to notice how clean this bathroom was. After washing my hands i exited the restroom to the lobby area and also took notice of how the rest of the restaurant is being maintained. The entire store was clean including the food prep area. I am very impressed with service and the new 1921 slider is the best thing for White Castle to do since the release of the chicken ring slider. Home run with this store and new menu.“

The different flavor dumplings are great options the chicken parm was amazing and I also had the Ruben and lamb ones as well sauce they come with go great with it definitely will try some original dumplings and a few more specialties one but definitely a solid spot“

“I went in to take my wife out for a bite on Sunday night. The food all freshly made from the sandwich to the fries and the southern fried chicken. I got the pastrami with chicken sandwich and it is good for 2 meals. The fries were not oily neither the regular nor the sweet potato. The wait for the food was not long at all. My wife ordered the special 2 piece chicken with fries. Slushies were good despite my brain freeze. The staff behind the counter explained the sandwich menu very simply and was very courteous and kind. Kudos. “One of the best “go-to” lunch/dinner spots in town. Their Halal menu is on point- you can’t go wrong with one of their bowl with pita on the side or in the dish! They also happen to have one of the best hamburgers in town. Value wise, it is the best (in my opinion). He spent almost an hour on the phone, helping me navigate ordering on the app which for some reason I was having an ordering problem. “Stopped into this McD's to get a quick meal. The drive-through was busy. The lot seemed full. Went inside to get my meal and was greeted by the manager who took our order and made our meal. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but our food was hot, and the customers didn't wait long.I feel that when a manager gets their hands dirty and in the grind with their employees, the employees tend to step up and work hard to support the manager and get the job done. “Got the tacos de carnitas (pork), chorizo (ground pork), and bistec (steak). All delicious but my favorite has to be the carnitas, and this is mostly because the owners wife makes the pork from pork shoulder and she's Dominican so she makes it as pernil which I grew up eating and it's my favorite rendition of pork. So it's fair to say that I've been here like 3 times in the past month and a half after finding this spot ? but it's bc in all honesty these are some of the best tacos in the area (Elmont/valley stream) and especially the best carnitas (pork) tacos in the area. We can try and compare other spots, but I promise you it's just your pride lol if we are talking Elmont this is the spot. Very authentic and the portions are crazy, I can throw down but I'm good with 4-5 tacos. Tbh once you go into 5-6 you're gonna be in the food baby territory of fullness, just get a Jarrito for the bevy and you'll be golden beloved.“

I used to love Eden deluxe hamburgers from the Atlantic diner in Queens but then one day hamburgers just didn’t taste right, so I stopped eating. I happen to go to five guys one day with my sister. Not sure if it was before or after her chemo treatment. She was feeling a little sluggish, so I got a small hamburger from them. Well that was it. I was addicted! “Like fellow Yelper Kid L mentioned below, everytime I go here I have a completely different experience than what many past reviews have described. It appears that this location has gotten finally their groover after having a bit of a rocky start. I came in yesterday for the 3rd time since writing my initial 5-star review last December, and on each occasion they really hit the mark. The food has been ready fast and comes out super hot. Yesterday I tried their Korean-style burger (ok.. I admit, I got a double) and it was ohh-sooo-good. I even got a side of spicy fries, because let's face it, how can you not. I could go on and on about how good this combo hits but just check out my pictures below this review. Friendly staff, easy to use kiosks if you're feeling anti-social, clean bathrooms, ample seating and water station with plenty of water cups.. that's a 5-star Shake Shack experience if you ask me!
