50 Best Ice Cream Shops near Point Lookout

“Unique ice cream and delightful employees! Why can’t I see where to put 5 stars here? 💜💜💜💜💜“

“Place was spotless, vibe and setting perfect for ice cream and owner and help were great as well as the ice cream cups donur ice cream and all the trimmings to choose.“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!“

“Yummy ice cream, the pistachio, chocolate, vanilla, coffee and dolce de leche was 💣“

“Great local frozen yogurt spot. We appreciate that there are always sugar-free flavors available. And usually a dairy free option. Most yogurt places around us only offer no sugar added, and are limited to one flavor if available. There also are sugar-free and gluten-free muffins. The scones are amazing. And there’s a bunch of frozen bagel options, cookies and brownies available. Plenty of toppings, for sugar-free they have chocolate chip chips and hot fudge. There’s also indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly, fast and helpful.“

“Had a great experience at the Lynbrook TCBY store! Brad, the friendly staff member behind the counter, went above and beyond to make our visit special. He kindly offered us samples of any flavor we wanted, which helped us decide on the perfect frozen yogurts. His warm smile and excellent customer service made my lunch break even sweeter. I met up with my wife and daughter there, and Brad made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. If you're lucky enough to catch him on Tuesdays or Thursdays (his days in the store), make sure to say hi - you won't be disappointed!“

“Amazing gelato. Highly recommend 🍨 😍🍧 😍“

“Gelato was delicious. My daughter had the Matcha soft-serve ice cream ($9) and loved it. I had the Apple Pie gelato. It had chunks of apple in it and was good ($10 for a medium size cup). Place has a small space where about five people could sit. It’s more of a grab and go spot. I took off one star because it’s a bit pricey. Staff was super nice.“

“Great ices! Mango is my favorite❣️“

“In summer comes I wish to go there so badly“

“This place is beyond amazing from the staff and owner nick to the atmosphere & ALL the amazing delicious flavors they had to choose from with an endless tray of toppings. “The Bellmore Carvel is very special. The amount of love and care put into my son's birthday cake exceeded my expectations. Amanda is so talented and you can tell she is passionate about designing cakes. She even called me personally to ask if she could alter the cake a bit from the image I provided. It came out a million times better than the image! Thank you, I will only be ordering from you guys in the future!“

Saw that they make cakes and was so happy I decided to get my birthday cake from them this year! It was delicious. My whole family loved it. Some went for seconds. Couldn’t recommend them again. Next birthday cake will be from them! lol. I had the Oreo & strawberry cheesecake with Oreo crunch in between.“

“First time trying one of their sundaes and I must say, I was not disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, and the customer service was top-tier. However one co-worker stood out, Pam. She was very friendly and made my sundae amazing considering they just recently dropped this specific flavor.“

“Nowhere else like it. Best ice cream and service you’ll find in the area.“

“The best Carvel in the area ! What makes it the best is that they definitely have the friendliest staff. And they keep the place super clean. I take my daughter there at least once a week after her gymnastics class and on more than one occasion have been shown appreciation for our loyalty.“

“There is not much that differentiates one carvel from another product-wise. However, the awesome customer service and friendly staff is what makes this one shine. We have a peanut allergy in the family and have never had an issue either. They also do a phenomenal job decorating cakes. 10/10 would recommend :)“

“We have tried so many artisinal / indie / mom-and-pop type ice cream shops, and this was the best one by a large margin. Definitely try the Bananas Foster ice cream, and then throw in something else to get a unique and tasty treat that will make your mouth and stomach happy!“

“Have been going to this location for about 5 years and at least twice a week in peak season. The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. She does a beautiful job keeping the location spotless and makes sure my family’s order is handled quickly. Everything we get there is always delicious!“

“It’s not just Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel .. any day is great for a Sundae ! Was given a sample cup of the Strawberry Soft Serve because I said I had never had it before .. it was amazing. Had my favorite on this night though .. Chocolate ice cream with Strawberry topping and whipped cream on top. Great service here !“

“DELICIOUSS!!! Reviews saying they are racist, IDK what you talking about!!! I tried the place with my child one day by coincidence and in less than a month we have been here 3 times! And no, Im not white, I dont work there, neither I know somebody who does, nor the owner. Gelato is soooo good!!! And the ladies upfront are always nice, even after my child asked to try half the flavors 😅“

“Love this place. Wish they had more of them in the city limits. Visited this location, south street seaport and the location in coney island. The staff is always super friendly, the custard and flavored ices are always so fresh. I got the vanilla custard with the cherry ice! (Which has real bits of cherry in it!). They have a parking lot which is super Convienent. Check out the pictures!“
