“I would like to give a big shout out and extend my appreciation to Taco Island, a food truck parked in the Carvel parking lot in St James, for their delicious food and exeptional customer service! The quality and freshness of their cuisine are consistently high, and the staff is always courteous and grateful for customers' business. We regularly order from them and have never experienced any difficulties. Tonight, despite a high volume of orders, they mistakenly provided the incorrect quesadilla. However, they promptly contacted me to rectify the situation and kindly offered to deliver the correct quesadilla to my residence to prevent our food from getting cold. Their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction is truly remarkable!!”

“Great place to chill but they need to do something about the front bar. If its busy at all with patrons sitting at it, it takes forever to get your drinks. I recommend extending it with a section that doesn't have seats in front of it.”

“I dont know if its their signature sandwich but my folks have been taking me to The Wunderbar for breakfast sandwiches for years. I always get 2 eggs over medium with bacon and cheese. They are very consistent, always delicious and use about a pound of bacon per sandwich. I look forward to it every time I visit.”

“Gilshar Greek Cafe is a local favorite in Port Jefferson Station, NY. The restaurant offers a pleasant dining environment inside Port Plaza, with well-arranged tables and greenery that create a relaxing vibe. Service was quick and friendly.

I tried the Lamb Gyro Combo with fries and Greek salad. The salad was fresh and traditional, albeit missing red onion and oregano. The French fries were simply seasoned with Greek spices, but the lamb gyro was fantastic, generously sized and packed with flavorful, rotisserie-cooked lamb. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are great. I’ll definitely come back!”

“If you’re looking for hispanic food that reminds you of the city, this is the spot. It’s harder to find good tasting authentic food in deeper Long Island but I’ve never regretted ordering from here. I get rice and beans with chicken and plantain; the chicken literally falls off the bone. Reasonable portions with reasonable prices.”

I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having one of the best fresh coffees of my life. I’m talking smooth, bold, and the kind of cup that makes you pause mid-sip just to appreciate it. Total standout.

The full egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was exactly what you want on a good morning. Soft, warm, packed with flavor, and honestly just satisfying in every way. Simple, fresh, and done right.
