“I came here on a rainy snowy Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend to have a little Cafe date. There were a million pastries to choose from, and I wanted to try them all.I maintained some semblance of decorum and ordered a lemon bar, mini fruit tart, and a marzipan orange. My boyfriend had a couple of mini eclaires, a pignoli cookie, and a rainbow cookie. He also had a double espresso, and i ordered a cappuccino. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! The cappuccino was average, nothing special, but good, cappuccino. “We visit Long Island a few times per year and we never miss a visit or two or three to the Lake Grove Diner. The food is delicious, fresh and plentiful. Peter is so hardworking and friendly. “Traveling from out of state and was brought to Salsa Salsa and I was AMAZED by my experience! They have an extensive selection of margarita flavors and a fabulous and fresh menu. Our group had ordered a traditional margarita, a black cherry margarita, and their seasonal "shamrock margarita" all of which were delicious and perfectly balanced in flavor. The staff was knowledgeable and a joy to interact with. The owner Chris took the time to chat with us and brought out many hot sauce flavors for us to try and gave us his recommendations. And if neither of those things agrees with your taste buds then they have wraps and salads too!!!But besides the food being beyond delicious, the owner, Kevin, and his whole team at every location have the kindest of hearts with setting up a Toys for Tots box this year!!! But it doesn't end there...A couple years ago when I found out my friend was involved in an accident, Crazy Crepe held a fundraiser for him. There’s many different dishes to choose from and my orders are very tasty. My wife likes to substitute on her orders and they accommodate her requests. It can get a little loud when the place gets packed so we try to ask for a quieter table when possible.Dietary restrictions: Sometimes people have aversions to certain vegetables or sauces and they are happy to adjust the dish if possible or suggest a decent substituteParking: Mall parking available with direct restaurant access but lot can be congested from mall shoppers. But I always find a spot.Kid-friendliness: I see many young families bring little ones and teens. The fish and meat are always accompanied by flavorful, interesting vegetables and starches. The wine options are plentiful. The decor is both attractive and comfortable with tables distanced for personal space. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well established. Really nice dining experience.“
