“We had another nice visit & dinner here on Wed July 5, 2023. Our party of 4 was seated promptly. Open Wed-Sun 4-9pm. They don't take reservations but have a bar & deck to enjoy a drink while you wait for a table. Always busy here in the summer months. The waitress (Calvert?) brought the menus, told us the specials & took our drink orders. Our meals were:hot spinach salad w/ grilled chicken ($14), the special-cedar plank broiled salmon w/rice & slaw ($21), chicken w/spaghetti ($17), & NY sirloin w/ potato & veg ($22). Wait was 30 minutes on a very busy 4th of July vacation week. No problem for us. All meal were per order, hot, and generous. OP's is always consistent with the dinners. Just a very good place to visit on the busy Rt 9 & 8 intersection at Loon Lake. Thank you for the great service & food. See you again when we're in Schroon Lake. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY”

“The food was very good. My wife had the chicken marsala and I tried the liver and onions. The liver brought back memories of the way my mother used to make it 50 years ago. The portions were adequate and well presented. The service was exceptional and the staff made us feel as if we were home. Randi, our bar maid was fantastic. We will be back and often.”
