In addition to their catering services, we used Dish’s day-of coordinating services. The food was phenomenal and people still keep raving about the chicken and waffle cones from our cocktail hour! Every single bite I had throughout the day left me satisfied with a happy belly! The entire day went as smooth as butter and everyone really enjoyed themselves! Our magical day would not have been possible without the amazing duo of Evalyn and Lauren! They were truly the best!“

“One of the most authentic places to feast at. Visited here from Toronto, Canada and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. The quality of the food speaks for itself in the fact that you don’t feel uneasy after filling up your belly with whatever you order from the menu.The free lassi was one of my favourite parts and I thoroughly enjoyed the buttermilk goodness. I took back 8 boxes of their famous barfi and till now I order boxes and have them shipped here, it’s been 8 years since I first ate there. Visited once again recently and can say other restaurants don’t compare. We have hundreds of India restaurants in Toronto, Brampton and Mississauga and have yet to try something as good as this place. Thanks for the great service and homemade food. “Let's start with nice samosas (jumbo size - they have smaller size too). They are very crispy with a good flavor. Nice option for yourself or to share, well better don't share :). Then a Dosa (kind of Indian pancake or burrito) with chicken tásala (they ask you how spicy you want). The chicken has a good flavor, so it s a good option when you are boring to eat traditional fast food. The sauces are ok but the Tamarindo was the best with a sweet and a little spicy flavor. The place is pretty small, you order at the cashier, seat, eat and go. “I’m genuinely happy to write this review, considering it was an extremely busy day all around at every sweet shop here in queens. Happy the family and I chose SK today, though the place was extremely busy, I will say the fantastic crew up front helped. This review is for 8/19/2024 for reference also, the crew at front eased our nerves as we were getting sweets. We needed a chunk of sweets today since it’s brother sister day, and we had a small function. Initially, I was scared because when things get chaotic at any establishment, things can go haywire.

I’m very pleased to say that the lovely young man and young lady up front made our visit easy, and even suggested options for us to try for our diverse set of folks. They were super knowledgeable, I didn’t catch their names, but the girl has some color in her hair and she wears a gold necklace that represents the symbol for Sikhism. The young man had short black hair, average height, and was just as helpful. Both were knowledgeable about sweets arrangements, ensuring that all standards met in accordance to allergies and such. I was very content with the service, not only was it fast, but both individuals were kindhearted and smiling throughout. We got our sweets in time, and we were handled accordingly.

If you want good service, come here. The young lady and young man today were the stars of the show, and our event was a success! If you’re looking for handouts of sweets you need to go somewhere where you can sit down then, this shop is about being effective and efficient— and the two workers I referenced are models of this establishment, they’re the reason I would suggest folks to come and support.

Remember this store is on rockaway Blvd, it is always with people coming in and out. If you wish to have service by which you’re pampered like it is a five star restaurant and you’re hand fed and babied, please be realistic about that as it’s a simple sweet store. But despite this, that shouldn’t dissuade anyone, as this Blvd is known to be a busy place for folks, people come and go.

Like I emphasized once again….

That crew today though helped so much, I can’t thank them enough. I hope their work is recognized. They kept the operations functional, never showed attitude, and kept that place very clean amid the stress of the busy work day.
