“This is definitely the best Haitian food I ever tasted in my entire life: this food is so delicious; the customer service was excellent, the place is deeply cleaned, those bathrooms was deeply clean: me and my friends tried 3 items and all of them was so delicious. The tassot with black rice, the griot with rice and beans and the The shrimp with sauce and plantain; Oh my God, that’s was so tasty. I recommend everyone to visit the Cap restaurant and lounge and I’m 100% sure you are not gonna be disappointed.“

“Haitian food is the best and the women who work here are super sweet however the atmosphere for some reason isn’t the best. And they never have diri djon djon on hand. The sos pwa was bomb and the poule was fire loved it. I gave it a four because of the atmosphere not comfortable at all! And too far out in queens for me“

“My family has been going here for years. Their fresh baked bread? Out of this world! They have traditional Haitian cake. Sweet and delicious. We order our cakes for birthdays and Easter. Sweet treats like Haitian mint candy, kok rache, peanut tablet and cashew tablet. We order patties here. My personal favorites are the herring & cod fish. They have fresh lemonade and acassan. Their prices are very reasonable. Great family owned Haitian bakery. Keeping our traditions alive. It's like going home every time. 🫶🏼💋“

“Today was the first time I ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats. When I tell you I am one satisfied customer; I will definitely eat from here again. Everything was to perfection! I ordered a large griot meal with rice which came with plantains, pickles, black bean gravy and another side of a delicious gravy and pikliz. I haven’t had Haitian food in so long and I am so glad I gave this place a chance. Whoever was in the kitchen please give them my thanks because wow. The portion size was also well worth the price. when I inquire about the cuisine. So, when I read great reviews about this restaurant, I was a bit hesitant to go in. I was afraid i might insult me because I don’t speak the language. But to my surprise, she greeted me warmly and asked, “Hello, baby! How can I help you?” behind her it’s a portrait of her loving husband. That has passed away.

I was instantly captivated and didn’t even taste the food. The kindness she showed me made me realize that this place is a haven where food is made with love. Even though I don’t speak the language,

she always greets me with warmth and affection, calling me “hello, baby.” I visit this restaurant on my saddest days. I crave comfort in a delicious home cooked meal and love also, is delicious delicious delicious

“I am sure their food, style, pricing approach will provoke debates but I just tried to enjoy every moment. To me, presentation and feeling special plays a part to the whole experience. The food was not bad but i was not going to break down every components on the plates. I have to give credit to the chef to be so creative in how he uses the ingredients. “It is the best place to get Haitian patties for all occasions. The good thing about this place is that they always have fresh baked patties ready to go, they never sell you leftovers patties. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. They also sell fresh Haitian breads and miniature patties.“

“Beautiful atmosphere! We were visiting Brooklyn NY and was looking for a nice Caribbean restaurant and there was Lago Kache restaurant! The staff were very friendly plus there was beautiful music playing in the background while waiting for our food. The wait wasn’t too long, which was great because we were starving. The only thing I can comment on is the fact that their soft drink menu was limited to 2 or 3 different juices, that’s it! No papaya juice, no soursop juice when I was there. Other than that, I had a really great experience at Kache. Go check them out if you’re in Brooklyn!“

“Everytime I come here, it feels like home. From the food, music even down to the news. I always recommend coming to eat here. I usually get the black rice, chicken, and legume and my husband gets the same thing as well as the paté. I also love the fact tht it's a family owned business. “Another local gem that doesn’t disappoint. This wasn’t my first time ordering from Creole Plate but it was my first larger order for myself and friends. Amongst 6 of us, we got griot, fried chicken, salmon,black rice , macaroni and cheese, plantain, fritay, pikliz and their fruit champagne soda. Sooooooo good, everyone had to take a break and simply enjoy the food. There was a bit of a wait for the food, so I’d recommend calling in advance. All in all, worth the wait 10/10 !!“
