“This is definitely the best Haitian food I ever tasted in my entire life: this food is so delicious; the customer service was excellent, the place is deeply cleaned, those bathrooms was deeply clean: me and my friends tried 3 items and all of them was so delicious. The tassot with black rice, the griot with rice and beans and the The shrimp with sauce and plantain; Oh my God, that’s was so tasty. I recommend everyone to visit the Cap restaurant and lounge and I’m 100% sure you are not gonna be disappointed.“

“Haitian food is the best and the women who work here are super sweet however the atmosphere for some reason isn’t the best. And they never have diri djon djon on hand. The sos pwa was bomb and the poule was fire loved it. I gave it a four because of the atmosphere not comfortable at all! And too far out in queens for me“

“I have been coming to this bakery since I was a little kids and now I drive 2 hrs from CT so that my kids can also enjoy the breads and sweets. It never disappoint. My favorite patties are from here and the pumpkin soup is a must if you have never tried it“

“They're a little hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant. There is nothing remarkable about it. The customer service is lackluster. They need to recruit someone one to teach them on how customer service works, and maybe their business can go to the next level. However, the food is AMAZING!!!“

“The food was amazing and the service was fast. The service was okay but I could see the workers getting very frustrated with customer requests. The food was fresh and very tasty! The line was to the door when I arrived which made me believe the food was a local favorite spot. First time here and definitely plan on flying back out to try out some stuff I missed like the fresh daily soup and lalo! “Today was the first time I ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats. When I tell you I am one satisfied customer; I will definitely eat from here again. Everything was to perfection! I ordered a large griot meal with rice which came with plantains, pickles, black bean gravy and another side of a delicious gravy and pikliz. I haven’t had Haitian food in so long and I am so glad I gave this place a chance. Whoever was in the kitchen please give them my thanks because wow. The portion size was also well worth the price. My picture does no justice but I was so excited to eat once I received my order.“

“This is one of my go to Haitian restaurants. They always have everything that’s on their menu. The food is consistently good. Im so happy that the owner kept the restaurant open despite her husband passing during covid. Wish they would get on uber eats/apps.“

“I am sure their food, style, pricing approach will provoke debates but I just tried to enjoy every moment. To me, presentation and feeling special plays a part to the whole experience. The food was not bad but i was not going to break down every components on the plates. I have to give credit to the chef to be so creative in how he uses the ingredients. The higher the price, the higher the publicity, the higher people expectations are so they will need to keep up with our expectations to continue to push the boundary and surprises.“

“It is the best place to get Haitian patties for all occasions. The good thing about this place is that they always have fresh baked patties ready to go, they never sell you leftovers patties. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. They also sell fresh Haitian breads and miniature patties.“

The food was amazing order consisted of Haitian patties variety (spinach, beef, fish, chicken), call the champagne and Haitian cookies (the cookies were OK). “Beautiful atmosphere! We were visiting Brooklyn NY and was looking for a nice Caribbean restaurant and there was Lago Kache restaurant! The staff were very friendly plus there was beautiful music playing in the background while waiting for our food. The wait wasn’t too long, which was great because we were starving. The only thing I can comment on is the fact that their soft drink menu was limited to 2 or 3 different juices, that’s it! No papaya juice, no soursop juice when I was there. Other than that, I had a really great experience at Kache. Go check them out if you’re in Brooklyn!“

“Another local gem that doesn’t disappoint. This wasn’t my first time ordering from Creole Plate but it was my first larger order for myself and friends. Amongst 6 of us, we got griot, fried chicken, salmon,black rice , macaroni and cheese, plantain, fritay, pikliz and their fruit champagne soda. Sooooooo good, everyone had to take a break and simply enjoy the food. There was a bit of a wait for the food, so I’d recommend calling in advance. All in all, worth the wait 10/10 !!“

“Everytime I come here, it feels like home. From the food, music even down to the news. I always recommend coming to eat here. I usually get the black rice, chicken, and legume and my husband gets the same thing as well as the paté. I also love the fact tht it's a family owned business. I will always recommend ppl to go there especially if they never have Haitian food before this is the place to go ????“
