“Best thing here by far are the lamb and chicken “kebabs”, which were pretty good for a quick bite on the go. It’s probably not going to be quick if you come on a weekend. We also tried the fish balls and octopus/squid and they were nowhere near as good.“

“Food here is great, authentic and always great. Service is mediocre at best. The servers don't speak English and if you are non-Uzbek the treatment you get is subpar. It is customary for serves to periodically check on the table to make sure everything is good and if there's anything else needed. But here the servers only initially take your order and beyond that you will have to put a great effort to get their attention. Overall a good restaurant but they can definitely improve their service and customer experience.“

“OUTSTANDING lamb skewers (see picture). This stall sits in a quiet corner of the New World Mall food court and it is totally worth a try, and for me, multiple return visits. The price, authenticity of food and stoicism of the proprietors is a remarkable combo that could make you swear you we’re back in Hotan or Kashgar enjoying the finest eats around.“

“I ordered takeout for my family of 4 and food was PHENOMENAL! The food was hot, fresh, and temperature controlled. I hate it when restaurants put salad and the hot food in the same tray. They did NOT do this. We got the lamb chops, chicken tikka and lamb tikka. They were tender and juicy! Rice was fresh and the salad crisp. Run, do not walk lol, & try them. You wont be disappointed.“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“The meal was excellent! We had oysters, king crab legs, seared tuna, and filet mignon. Every dish was great. The crab legs were served hot when most places they are lukewarm. The oysters were clean and fresh. The filet was served sliced which was really unique and you knew immediately it was cooked to order. Overall, it was a great experience!“

The person working is usually different everytime I go but they are all so kind! And they really pack in what they can into the to-go container. I guess it depends on how much you eat but it usually lasts me 2 meals.

They take both cash and card which is also really convenient.“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

“This was our first time trying Mediterranean food and certainly the first time trying this place. Food was actually really, really good and exceeded our expectations. Ingredients are very fresh, chicken & steak shawarma was flavorful. Food was light but very filling. One thing though, the music was way too loud and we thought we ordered two bowls. Slight miscommunication but the man at the front was extremely friendly. Everything turned out fine because that one bowl was filling enough for the both of us! We've been very health conscious these days so we'll definitely be back. This and Pokeworks is now our two favorite spots.“

“Visiting Flushing and wanted to scratch an itch from the days I lived in 深圳. Hadnt found a place that mimicked it like the mainland places and this was my second experience in Flushing for 串串烧烤 (skewer bbq).Wasn't sure if the skewers were cooked over coal but the intense heat from a hot grill was there. If you've never had these kinds of skewers before, you may be in for a pleasant experience. Pairs excellent with beer as is the norm for this cuisine in China.Costwise, it's pricier than I thought it to be but then everything is expensive since Covid. It made me reminensce how inexpensive it was to eat while in one of the most expensive cities in China. $1.75-$2.25 for cauliflower/vegetable skewers? I couldn't bear to order that and stuck with meat options. The Beef tendon was delightfully delic. It's soft and tender and spiced just right. I ordered lamb and lamb tendons and couldn't tell when they arrived. Never had lamb tendons and felt it was identical to beef tendons. Both yummy. If I couldn't tell which was the lamb meat, then something was off because rest of the meat options I had ordered were chicken. The chicken leg was a whole drumstick (good ole' USA hormone fed chicken sized leg) so that caught me off guard in terms of quantity of meat on a skewer. This may had been the biggest bang for the buck. The fried beef noodles carried a nice spicy punch to it. You couldn't tell by sight. We meant to order a soup noodle but enjoyed the fried version instead. Mmm, carbs. This was to me the spiciest dish we had ordered and I can handle heat. It's likely unlike any other dried noodles you may have had especially if you're experience of fried noddles are mainly Cantonese/Taiwanese style.“
