I was somewhat skeptical when I saw the average review of 3.9 stars. After reading most of the negative reviews, none of them complained about the food. The reviews were primarily from westerners complaining about the “bad service.” The service was incredible and the food was out of this world. Sichuan food is very rare to come by in the US and this place offers the closest experience you’ll get. 10/10 recommend.
I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Our server was attentive and friendly, checking in at the right times without being intrusive, and all of our dishes arrived promptly. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. I’d happily return.
I really only ordered pick up, but was satisfied with the food. I ordered the sechuan chicken. Fantastic and would order again. Lady in the front was friendly.

This small Sichuan restaurant is a hidden gem worth discovering, featuring delicious dishes like spicy beef stew noodle soup with handmade noodles, twice cooked pork, whole tilapia with bean paste, and three cup chicken. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly, even when understaffed. The atmosphere is authentic and peaceful, making for a nice dining experience. With amazing food and great value for money, including an incredible lunch special for only $7, Sweet Yummy House is a well-deserved Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient. It truly embodies the spirit of great value for anyone looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine without breaking the bank.
