“What a spectacular hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll go anywhere for a good duck breast, this place absolutely delivered 110%. Right amount of char, the seasoning, and it was cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon and burrata apps were delicious. We couldn't be happier with the very attentive service, quaint atmosphere - and the food was really on point for such an unassuming location. Also, the hot rice pudding with golden raisins was fantastic, as close to grandmas recipe as I can remember coming across! Keep up the spectacular work!“

“Recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday here. After researching many venues in the area we landed with the Grille. Jenn (the event coordinator) was extremely friendly, professional and informative from the moment I called her to inquire about the space. The venue is a dual space. You have the catering room as well as the bar area where there are pool tables and a dart board. Perfect for our guests in their 20s. The food and staff were amazing. I cannot rave enough about Amy, Jenn, Steve, Ernesto and Sabrina. They were all so helpful and accommodating during our event. Jenn was extremely attentive and made sure we had all our desires fulfilled, up until the morning of the party. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Book them! You won’t regret it!“

“My mom and I hosted a baby shower here, just this past weekend, and we feel we need to scream from the rooftops just how amazing it was! The staff was phenomenal, anything we needed they were right there to help! The food was stellar and all of our guests were talking about how they wish they could load up to go containers from the buffet! If you ever have to throw an event, do yourself the favor and check them out! The owner is the nicest guy and really just went above and beyond to help make the shower perfect! “Melinda was absolutely amazing at George’s Luncheonette in Patchogue! She was so kind, friendly, and funny and made the whole breakfast experience even better. She suggested the waffle and it was delicious — freshly made and perfectly crispy. She also let me customize it with chocolate chips, fruit, and whipped cream which made it even more amazing. She made sure our coffees were always full and hot too, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was incredible, but the service was even better. You can tell she really cares about her customers. “Watch Hill is a campground and glamping site inside Fire Island National Seashore, and it’s basically one of the most unique “nature stays” near New York City. You don’t get there by car—you take a ferry from Patchogue and then walk or use a wagon to reach your tent or campsite. The whole experience feels like a mix of beach escape, camping, and national park isolation.

It’s very popular in summer because of the ocean access, safari-style tents, and the fact that you’re staying right in a protected coastal wilderness area.“

05/28/2025 Despite having gone here numerous times since first review, I must update. Came for happy hour in bar. By far the best garlic muscles I've ever had. Their wings are big meaty and deliciously fried. The chicken/ spinach meatballs with chickpeas are amazing.
02/07/2020. 5:30 Friday reservation. Seated immediately. Waitress very pleasant, attentive and accomdating. 2 appetizers, baked clams: nice flavor, but didn't see or taste any clams. Very heavy on the breading. Florentine shrimp: excellent with feta and a delicious sauce. Entrees, tuna taste was delicious. Ask to be not raw just a little pink. Had to send back, was very raw. They were not hussy about it, apologized and it came back perfect. We also had the seafood Porto. This was their version of a mixed seafood pallea. It was absolutely delicious on a bed of linguini. Desert was house made by style cheesecake. Very good and well presented. Only issue is I feel the entrees were a little steep in price. I will return“

“Just found out the cafe has a menu full of gluten free options and tried it out. Amazing place and food was delicious! They have gluten free toast, buns, soups, desserts. My husband was excited to be able to have so many choices in a beautiful restaurant. Thank you! We'll be back for sure!“

You can tell the employees are happy to work there and they take pride in what they do. They have a small kitchen but they sure do have some great food!🍔 I've never had a bad meal there! You got to go check it out the place is a lot of fun! 🍸“
