I have been going here for years and enjoy everything about it. Great service! The Suzi B and Freddie D are my favorite breakfast sandwiches, the apple fritters are amazing and the clam chowder is great. My favorite is the shrimp grits!!! They are YUMMY. This is a friendly low key place to eat solo or with friends.

I find it odd when I called 1872 Cafe for an information ℹ️ and then they didn't answer at first, I made 2nd attempt call. One of them told me to stop calling them. Isn't it odd. I had to put 1 star for a poor service on the call

No bathroom for customers and they charge you for water when it’s 80 degrees in the establishment. For these two reasons I would not recommend this place. The food was okay

Love sitting inside near giant glass windows... or outside in warm weather. Wonderful, lovely music. Quiet atmosphere. Food is very good & generous portions. Nice variety of coffees & teas.
Also really enjoy looking at all the decor, based on Susan B. Anthony & other important women. Location is where she originally (illegally) voted !
