I lived in Rochester for 6 years and I can’t believe I missed this place while I was there. Stopped here during a recent visit and was blown away. If you know, you know. This no frills locals spot is a must if you're just visiting. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes for my order and it's always hot and delicious. Call ahead and it'll be ready by the time you get there. There are so many places in the area to get your fix for a garbage plate, but this is by far and large the best in town. If it's your first time trying one, try it here. Don't like mac salad or beans? Ask for "double home fries".

I was amazed at how good the food was!! I got a veggie chili cheese dog with a side of sweet potato fries that are sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. And the hubby got a veggie hot n burger plate, he loved the veggie dog but didnt dig the veggie burger.. We were so happy that we went back 3 days later!
