No idea how this place is still in business. Service is either surly or non-existent, menu items are the highest price point possible, and the food is just sub-par. Gave them another chance during bad weather because they're close and in the neighborhood, but there's no other reason to spend top dollar on such piss poor food when there's actual Indian food from other restaurants that's worth the money.
Probably the best Indian food that I've found in the Rochester area. Unfortunately, I initially let the other negative Google reviews deter me from giving this place a try for quite some time, but I am very glad I gave it a try today. The Beef Makhani was very tender and the sauce was a perfect buttery blend and very well seasoned. The Basmati Rice Side was large and also seasoned very well. I kinda feel sorry for this place. It used to be a decent Rochester quality Indian restaurant before the pandemic. It seems quite clear the business is struggling-which came first quality or customer base?Anyway, the buffet is now a lunch menu which would be ok like my favorite Indian restaurant’s gentleman’s lunch in Jaipur but….We had the vegan and vegetarian thalis, supposedly a Southern Indian favorite but no sambar, no chutney.
