I went here to get some herbs for my new hair care regime. They were not friendly at all. No one greets you when you walk in, and the guy eith the dreads was on HIS PHONE the entire time. You cannot be successful in business that way...AT ALL. I wanted to tryvthe food, but everyone was in the back......what's that about 😒. I am debating if I will go back.
Amazing food,
Had the fried red snapper with black rice and I swear it was the best fried fish I have had in the US. The black rice was good enough to be a main on its own.
Wife had the egusi stew w/ fufu and that was incredible as well.
If you like spicy ask for their pickli and pepper sauce, they are incredible.
Can't wait to go back.
I came to Rochester for an event and decided to try the African food here. I had the fish jollof rice, and it tasted amazing . The portions were generous, and I couldn’t stop myself from eating because it was so tasty. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Should I visit Rochester again, I would definitely come back here. I also recommend trying the ginger tea.
