“Shared a pizza and a salad on a date night out. Salad wasn't the one we originally ordered but it was okay. Pizza was solid. Unique area. (Village Gate) Service was excellent. If we weren't in a hurry we'd probably have reserved early and ate at standard table instead of the higher chairs near the bar.“

“It was apparent that the new owner Vickie wants to change the whole vibe and not for the better. She could care less about accomadting you with options & if you have any food allergies. I do not recommend Nosh, not the same restaurant and feel its a turn for the worst. One out of the four meals one was acceptable we had 12/14/2023.The waitress very sweet but felt she was as frustrated as we were. Vickie the owner made no effort to accommodate us and was almost rude.I will pass this along, is a small coummiity in Rochester. Any postive reviews you read are prior to Vickie taking over restuarant.“

“We went for drinks and dinner before a Fringe event and we were pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the service and the hustle they demonstrated. The food came out so quickly and our Crunchwrap & rice bowl were craveable! The portion was ample and the flavors were spectacular! The picture of margaritas really did the trick and we had a great evening and we told them so! Thank you bartender Frank and server Olivia!“

“We are from out of town but visit ROC frequently because our son plays on the Jr. Amerks Juniors/NAHL team. He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! Tiramisu is my favorite thing in the world and Mamma G’s tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Carlo is the bomb!“

“Found this randomly when I was traveling. Stopped because of the awesome name, and it certainly was Naan-tastic! Had a Tikka paneer rice bowl, and it was so delicious. My only complaint is you don't have locations in Massachusetts where I live ❤️ 1,000 Stars!“

“Loved, loved, loved this grill! They have booths and tables. The food was exceptional-even the decaf coffee was rich and flavorful!! Everyone there working had a smile on there face which tells you they are happy working there. When I called there to ask questions the man who I talked to was so friendly. And... “My friend and I went there for dessert and a beverage. The selection was outstanding. I ordered the Viennese Mirangue Torte, it was delicious. My friend has the raspberry cheesecake, she said it too was delicious. The service & attention from the waitress was excellent. We are planning on going again.“

“We hosted our wedding reception here and had absolutely the best night! We had a list of demands and things that really needed to be done and Kristen made every one of them work. Every guest we had was amazed and loved the space and the atmosphere. The drinks were delicious and they were flexible on when we were able to open and close our tab. We would absolutely host another event here!“

“Stopped in for dinner and had a party of 4. It was a Tuesday night and told there was a 30 min wait. They offered us a high top at bar, and unfortanately it was really loud and hard to have a conversation.
The food was good. We previously had a catered event with the barbecue package and it was delicious. Was hoping those items on menu but they weren't.
We started with the artichoke cristini app. It was so good...we fought over the last one. I had an Asian pork sandwhich with sweet potato fries; my husband had a pizza and 2 other family members had burgers. No complaints about the food. Good portion sizes. Hot. Reasonable prices.“

“A Gem in Rochester! Came back to my hometown and had a surprise dinner party for my mother last night for a party of 9. The food was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. My daughter hand picked some flowers to give to her grandmother, and the waitress went back and came out with a vase for her to set her flowers in. They even took our store bought cake, cut it up and brought it back out looking like the fanciest dessert ever- drizzling with some deliciousness! Kudos to the Chef, and thank you to all at Rooney’s who made our evening so successful and such a memorable experience!“

“I LOVE this place. Create a pizza is my all time favorite spot. I’ve been coming here for years and I recommend it to every person I come across. Especially those with dietary restrictions. The food is always delicious, there are always friendly smiles behind the counter, and the prices are pretty unbeatable. Hands down, best pizza joint in Rochester.“

“10/10! I was blown away. Absolutely hands down one of Rochester’s best restaurants. Friendly and quick staff and the food… 🤤 oh the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! Thanks to the amazing chef who was so accommodating! We will definitely be back!“
