“I was on my way to a funeral. Most places were closing due to it being a holiday. but i had to stop for dress socks for the gathering . Knowing i wouldn’t have much time to eat ( and being celiac(gluten free)) it’s hard to find foods i can eat. I saw Charley’s had traditional on the bone wings. I figured eh. “Simply the best taco spot in the area for true street-style tacos. I used to drive all the way to Queens to get tacos like these, and now I’ve found this gem just 2 minutes from home.

I ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The meat quality was excellent and the portions were very generous. The birria consommé was perfectly seasoned and came with a grilled jalapeño that added the perfect touch. The tacos also came with fries, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food.

I also tried the chorizo tostadas, and once again the portion size and flavor were incredible. The condiments were fresh and well balanced, and those came with fries too. There was so much food that it was easily enough for two people.

I can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious street-style tacos, this is the spot.“

“My husband & I had a very bad experience at the St James DQ - which we ONLY went to cause OUR DQ IN MEDFORD WHICH WE LOVE WAS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SOMETHING. We then drove thru OUR MEDFORD DQ to show the wonderful manager there the product we got from the St James DQ - and SHE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE US THE FREE ICE CREAM WHICH WAS MISSING FROM THE PRODUCT WE PURCHASED FROM THE ST JAMES STORE!!!’. Behind the counter are very pleasant, bilingual folks who will explain any dishes and answer any questions you might have. There are no shoortcuts taken in the kitchen. “Not exactly sure what changed recently but going into this Wendy's, I normally have a problem on how slow it is. How enthusiastically surprised was I to find out that the visit was so quick it was almost shocking. I put the order in the app cuz I saw the place was busy being lunch time while getting my car detailed. Place was clean organized and my food was exactly what I ordered and hot I also had a last-minute change on the flavor Frosty and they literally had the order in their hand! Thank you for a pleasant visit!!“

“So I was looking to get a banana shake and couldn't get one anywhere. I came into chik in Selden and was warmly greeted by the manager himself, James P. James was so accommodating and hospitable in taking my order for a cookies and cream shake that was so yum I forgot about the banana shake!

I had to use Apple pay and the Tomeka, who was working the front register and preparing the amazing meals ran to get her own phone charger to accommodate my needs. “Been there several times for on the way home for something quick. Each time the order was correct and the Pizza tasted really good. I do the combo with boneless wings and cheesy breadsticks. Not one complaint from me on the food and the service. Always greeted with a smile and if I call ahead the order is ready on time. Not prepared too far ahead. Hot & Fresh. “This is a great Taco Bell, the food is fresh and yummy and the staff is friendly. I would give it 5 stars, BUT their drive thru is horrible for a pickup and honestly, the 5 star rank is reserved for my true love, Taco Bell of Patchogue on Medford ave. (Rt. 112). This Bell IS the next best Bell I have found on the island so far. Nothing like a fresh hot crunchy Doritos loco taco! Thank you for your excellent work!“
