“My first wife and I were in the mood for some great “slices” for a casual dinner after we had developed quite an appetite after our latest sweaty “reconciliation” session.Maria’s was highly recommended by some of the locals who know where to get “great” and affordable pizza out in this neck of Long Island.Jackie staffed the counter and Leo was manning the ovens that evening.The food was great! We both ended having a slice of the BBQ pizza as well as a slice of the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Two slices was plenty and super affordable and it only took minutes to reheat from the extensive display of pizza options.For a little sweetness, we also ordered two of the yummy chocolate-covered, home made doughnuts.Although we could have dined there, the place is clearly more of a take out place, rather than a fine dining establishment.Feasting on pizza and donuts from Maria’s was THE perfect way to celebrate our successful reconnection before we both collapsed into a deep, satisfying sleep.Highly recommended!! Although we live far away, we will be back — probably with our newborn twins!.“

“As an Italian raised kid who has always stayed loyal to a pizzeria I would take a slice from D’matteos any time and day. There is a beautiful combination of ingredients that allows for the ability to make a crispy or soft slice depending on your preference, and most importantly the selection of toppings is unmatched and the quality of them is of the highest. Also, the balancing of the toppings is perfect to ensure you don’t feel too full to get through a slice but it also isn’t too little to where you don’t feel satisfied after eating. The Italian authenticity is exquisite and I will absolutely continue to support this family run pizzeria.“

“I used to go to tropical smoothie after my workouts, but this… this is the place to go. Not only do they offer me a discount because I go to orange theory; and this place is immaculate. So clean and inviting, and so is the staff. They are diligent and the prices are very fair!! The smoothies and the food are incredible. I wish they were open every day of the week and later, I do workouts on Sundays and weekdays late at night. So when I can come in after a workout, I’m hyped. I wish I could change my schedule to go everytime after a workout, but that’s okay. I enjoy the times I can go and enjoy the atmosphere and meals!“

“Amazing local deli! We’ve been coming here for years, even after we moved out of state when we come back to visit we are here multiple times! Their egg sandwiches are unmatched and all their hot and cold foods are delicious. Highly recommend! Great food and service, love the family business.“

“I just ordered from this place, I used to go to proportions all the time to get my salads, or meals before this place came around. I’m not too sure if they changed things around or if they updated the place but it’s exactly like proportions! The salads were absolutely delicious, and the size portions were massive! Can’t get any better than this place, it’s a little costly but it’s worth it for its size and quality! It’s super fresh, and I love how they give you a lot of options when it comes to toppings making it gluten free, and vegan friendly!I highly recommend!“

“Pete, the Greek, small in appearance, but big on food, quality and taste. Limited seating most of the business is takeout, but don't let that stop you from coming and sitting down and enjoying a good meal. The restaurant has their contemporary look steel seats, wooden tables with black subway tile walls. Fast friendly service with average prices. Ample parking, so no need to worry. Ciao for Now.“

“Great place if you want pupusas, burritos, tacos. Have been here several times over the years and like their consistency as well as the soul food vibe you get from a lot of their dishes. Affordability, taste, and service are strengths of this establishment. Will come back! Also, the place usually has some traffic but is convenient enough that you can expect to have your food promptly. Service is great, people in the front are nice, helpful with their menu, generous with their portions, and wrap everything pretty This time I got a to-go order with their cheese pupusas as well as their mixed meat and rice/bean dish. Cheese pupusa is delicious with a great mix of flavor, heat, and texture to each pocket. Dipped this in the salsa they provided and it was perfect. Also the mixed meat and yellow rice/bean dish was awesome! I got their chicken stew, chicharrones, and carnitas to go with the dish. Very nicely flavored stew that meshes well with their yellow rice, which is also delicious by the way. Overall fresh and soul food comforting meal.“

“Spent a little time this past Saturday; what a jewel and located so close to where I live. We were warmly greeted, and the entire experience was positive, the wines were superb and the cheese board also a hit. We will definitely return. Thank you Harmony Vineyards.“

“Could have sworn I wrote a review for TJ's many moons ago. This was, of course, before they moved locations from Main Street to Washington. Not sure if the review was lost in the move. Regardless it's time to shout out a family favorite. My husband grew up going to TJ's. Ironically, I wasn't much of a sandwich person until the Hubs came along. And what was once a regular thing for us is now a treat. Hub's go to is a Chicken Supreme with American cheese and Mayo. Me...I bounce around. Some days I'll get a Tuna hero, and other days it's the Super Club or the #25 cold Italian hero with the works and Mayo. The bread is delicious. They put the right amount of meats/cheese which I can appreciate a nice, not overstuffed sandwich sometimes. Also the iced tea. Classic deli iced tea. Hard to find a good one these days. TJ's has stayed the same and continues to be one of the best. These days I get the unsweetened mango tea and it's just as good. What was once a tiny sandwich shop, is now a nice size convenient store which features some household items, a few groceries and lottery tickets. The staff...some of them have been there as long as I can remember. This is a local biz that I think the community would be crushed if they ever leave. They really are the best here, and have even helped me carry a ton of sandwiches to the car while doing a pickup with the kid. TJ's...one of the most underrated spots in LI but prob the best sandwich shop on the Island. If you didn't know, now you do!“

“Ended up here on a busy Friday when sit down restaurants were full up. Loooved the ranch chicken slice. Crust was crisp and airy and toppings were fresh. Been living in the midwest and really missed a great slice of pizza. Italiano's delivered!“

“This has got to be the most awesome place for Heroes, Sandwiches. Quesadillas and More. Just a window out in Farmingville. Worth the ride. I stocked up with a Steak Dilla and a huge baseball bat of a hero I can't even pronounce. The taste is out of this universe. They deserve a Michelin Star“

“We were greeted with smiling faces and promptly seated. We both ordered patty melt sandwiches. Although we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked, they were cooked medium rare and were perfect! Ample sauted onions. Lovely dill pickle, fresh crunchy Cole slaw that tasted home made. Delicious coffee. The French fries were cooked crisp on the outside, fluffy on inside. The diner was clean. Chicken orzo soup came with the meal and had a full chicken flavor. Very satisfying meal at this diner!“
