“A surprisingly *excellent* find thanks to an on-the-go search of my Yelp app! I was stuck at a nearby hotel for the night (what a disaster... long story) and hadn't had much to eat after a long afternoon and evening full of travel delays. Fortunately, this outlet was still open relatively late, and upon venturing inside, I found a huuuuuge menu full of inexpensive options, whether burgers, ribs, fried seafood, or, yes, fried chicken in countless sizes and options. I chose the six-piece chicken tenders ($10.67) and was rewarded with a ginormous portion, as each tender was about the size of a cutlet in terms of both diameter and thickness. Each tender was also fried beautifully. A light, cutlet-style level of breading (instead of, say, an excessively chunky and brittle coating) and no hint of stale oil. Fresh, tasty, and all made to order. The gentleman at the front counter was also helpful in explaining other drink options when I discovered that their soda fountain didn't have diet Coke. So I picked up a couple of inexpensive bottles of water, which tided me over through the meal and for the rest of the night. Thanks Yelpers for a solid, local, independent find at the end of an absolutely horrible day when I needed it the most!“
