For great german food in a quaint german bierhouse atmosphere this is the place. On top of a mountain in the catskills you will find a slice of Germany. Staff wear traditional garb. Food is secoond to none. All tasty german beers on tap. Lots to look at. You will think your in the Alps. I just went to the brauhaus cant say anything bout the resort.
I stayed here while playing music for a Wedding at nearby resort . I loved the peace and charm of Crystal Brook . A warm welcome from owner Wendy and a fantastic breakfast served in a dining room which takes you back to a time when things seemed simpler. The pool , tavern and perfect grounds all made me want to stay longer... but there will be a next time , I'll be back for sure .

Very nice experience. The server was so nice and patient with all our questions. Had the pretzel, bratwurst, bauerwurst, cabbage, spaetzel, potato salad, sauerkraut and potato pancakes with oktoberfest dark beer...mmmmm. The decor and German music set the tone. Would definitely recommend.
