“We thought the prices were fair! The baked goods looked delicious although we didn’t try any today. The pre packaged food looked good! And the juices and tonics were also plentiful and well priced. We grabbed the vegan sausage , egg and cheese. At first we were disappointed in the slider sized bun, but it turned out to be plenty of food with the sausage , egg and cheese. “We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“The most delicious and nutritious food from their appetizers and samplers to the entrées and the scrumptious desserts. They are vegan, kosher and gluten free and they accommodate restrictions. We always have their Mediterranean sampler and their penne a la bolognese. We tried their pesto penne yesterday and it was so tasty! We also had their buffalo cauliflower wings for a lil kick! My Mother’s Day would not be complete without their chocolate cranberry tart! We also had their Turmeric Latte (coconut milk) to go. In the past we have also had their salads which are so fresh and flavorful! There is something for every palate. They have it all and it's all good.

“Food is delicious! Would recommend the sautéed chicken, sea scallop risotto, linguine bolognese, marinated skirt steak, homemade mac and cheese or the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Unique dessert option that the kids loved was campsite s'mores where they can roast marshmallows at the table with a personal little fire. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall atmosphere was nice with larger parties able to be accommodated in a larger, brighter room while main dining room was more cozy with smaller booths/tables and darker ambiance. Parking is tight, but there is a larger municipal lot across the street. Can't wait to go back!“

“Snackery did a BTS themed birthday cake for my daughter. It was so fabulous. Delicious chocolate cake, and cookie dough and confetti filling and a really yummy frosting. My daughter was thrilled and everyone wanted to know where we got the delicious cake from. Thank you so much for everything.“

“I don't know how it's possible but this place may have the best falafel I've ever had. Most of us got either the falafel platter or sandwich. The insides are so moist while outside is perfectly crisp. The crispy outside is very savory. The insides are very, very green. I'm sure there's better ways to describe it, but I think you'll know it if this is what you're looking for.

The location itself is small, maybe room for 20 people. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated.

It's a casual dining experience, walk up and order and they'll bring it to your table. The staff is helpful and patient.

Vegetarian options: Almost everything was vegetarian. A few options with egg. Vegan options were clearly identified.

Their custom cakes and cookies not only taste incredible but their decorators are extremely talented, they knock it out of the park every time. My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

They gave us the best suggestions for smoothies and took the time to ask us what we wanted and were in the mood for. “This place has the best food for a quick meal on the run, catering or a personalized meal. Supr food caters to all dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free and vegan while having options for those that do not have food allergies. Everything tastes delicious!!! I have used the catering for office lunches and everytime the staff raves about how good the food was! Check this spot out if you haven’t already.
