Now imagine that bar was plucked right out of that place and put in the middle of Rye. That's The Pub. It's a hole-in-the-wall dive bar that's perfectly out of place in Rye. The bartender has a heavy hand, the drinks are cheap, and it's the ideal location to catch up with an old friend.“

“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. “My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

“I was with some friends for a bit of a reunion. I honestly did not know what to expect from Haven but all I can say is that it is a wonderful, friendly and cozy place. The lite bites were all tasty, but the tap list, the whisky...and whiskey list were outstanding, but the cocktails...oh my! Everyone in our party thought the cocktails were truly outstanding, different, and creative. And priced fairly. I have paid more at several places for cocktails that were nowhere as good as at Haven. The owners are delightful and made us feel at home and next time I find myself in Port Chester, forget anywhere else...I know where I am going. Thanks Haven!“

Parking: We were early on a week day in February, so parking was simple. I am sure it can get difficult on weekends and during the summer.“

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. “Found this place browsing for "pool table bar". Found this little gem. Has a nice pool table and other games. It is located on a quiet street in downtown stamford. Medium size and has an open area patio in the back. Overall a nice quiet bar. Ordered food which was way better than what I had expected, actually very good. Will go back for the calamaris and freshly cut homemade french fries.“

“My visit to Arepa Mania Bar & Grill in NY was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing the Reina Pepiada arepa was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and delicious, and the natural passion fruit juice was incredibly refreshing.

The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The indoor garden-style decor is really nice, giving the space a cozy and vibrant feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal even more.
