“I pass this place all the time but never thought to stop in. Big mistake! The other morning I finally decided to give it a try and ordered a late breakfast via DoorDash. I went with the Venezuelan Breakfast, and wow, it was incredible. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, the caraotas (black beans) were flavorful, and the arepa was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs and sweet maduros rounded everything out and made the meal so satisfying. Now I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!“

Our daughter had her favorite pan fried gyoza here and they gave her chopsticks for kids and a lollipop after the meal. It was a beautiful restaurant and very family friendly. “Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals. Ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and it came with toast (4 pieces), juice, and coffee. Very affordable and I'd recommend coming here. There's a parking garage and street parking on the hill to the right of this restaurant (free on Sundays).“

“Great location in a lively, redeveloped section of Stamford. We had an event with a fixed price menu and each course was amazingly good. Come hungry, because they give you a lot of food. Apps, salad, pasta and main courses were all wonderful. Great service and a great view of the harbor. Not sure if it is open to the public, but if it is, check it out.“

“I stopped by Caribbean Bakery & Mini Mart for dinner and went straight for their oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The plate was huge, and you could smell the seasoning before it even hit the table. The oxtail was flavorful, tender, and coated in a rich sauce that really pulled the dish together. The rice was fluffy, the peas earthy, and everything had that authentic homemade Caribbean taste.

If I had one wish, it would be for the oxtail pieces to be a little meatier — because the flavor had me wanting more. Portion-wise though, they don’t skimp, and everything tasted fresh.

Service was straightforward, the spot has that local charm, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving real Caribbean flavor in the area. One heads-up: parking can be tough, especially earlier in the day, so plan ahead.

“What a delicious, pleasant surprise this little restaurant was! When I walked in I honestly didn't expect too much because it was small and completely empty, and could have been a little cleaner. However the food was outstanding, and I am VERY picky. My friend and I split a ginormous Greek salad (the stuffed grape leaves were unbelievable), and we each ordered a gyro. Mine was chicken and so good! We also ordered the side of fries, and for $4 we received a large basket of fresh, hand cut, perfectly cooked fries. I don't live anywhere New Rochelle but I'm hoping to make it back there!“
