Last weekend I picked up a 3-foot Italian hero from St. James Pasta and Pork. Clara was so helpful when I told her I was transporting it over 150 miles the day after pick up.
Clara packed it to travel separating the veg and dressing from the meats, cheese, and bread. Everything was top quality and cut just right to deliver that perfect bite. No one suspected the sandwich was prepared the day before.

St. James Pasta & Pork is a wonderful place and a true gem that reminds people of fond childhood memories. The owners are really nice and treat you like family. The person behind the counter was kind and inviting, offering a tour of the food. This is a great little store where all the pasta appears to be made fresh on the premises.
The food is true Italian home cooked goodness. The chicken cutlets are awesome, and the meatballs are probably top ten. The spinach ravioli, with its ricotta, is amazing, and the freshness is evident. The stuffed spicy peppers still make mouths water, remaining as spicy and crunchy as remembered with a perfect texture. They are made fresh, and the price is very worth it.
The store also features monster sized mozzarella sticks. With parking available, it is a place you will not be disappointed by.
