BLACKBARN Hudson Valley Reviews
Amazing atmosphere paired with inspired food and fantastic service. My wife and i were lucky enough to be invited to their soft opening. A great new and fun look to the already beautiful landmark. Our son and daughter-in-laws wedding was held there and was one of the greatest weddings I have ever attended. Spent the entire weekend there and the hotel was amazing. Clean and attentive staff. The tavern was warm and friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere with great food. Literally parked the car and didn’t have to leave the entire weekend. We go back sometimes for a weekend getaway.

BLACKBARN Hudson Valley offers an exceptional dining experience with really good food, including standout dishes like the braised beef and salmon. The restaurant's rustic yet attractive atmosphere features a modern industrial design with rustic ranch touches, creating a beautiful setting. Guests can enjoy brunch on the patio overlooking serene views of the Hudson Valley falls, which adds to the fabulous environment. The restaurant is perfect for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway, with spacious rooms that have beautiful bathrooms, a continental breakfast, and extraordinary service from the friendly staff. While the food is not cheap, the generous portion sizes allow price-conscious diners to share. Recent visitors have praised the delicious Egg and Cheese sliders, Huevos Rancheros, Waffle & Fried Chicken, and the impressive drinks like passionfruit mimosas. The indoor space is just as gorgeous as the patio, ensuring a lovely dining experience no matter the choice. Service has been noted as warm and attentive, although there have been some concerns about Yellowjackets on the patio. Overall, BLACKBARN is a fine spot for brunch or dinner, providing a lovely atmosphere and good food, making it a worthwhile destination for those in the area.
