“This place just does it right! We keep stopping in and diving deeper into the menu and trying different things, we love all of them. Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. Five stars for the food, the staff, the menu, the beer choices, and the local watering hole type of vibe the whole atmosphere has!“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “The food was very good. I had mussels which were great and the skirt steak that came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables that was very good. The steak was cooked to my liking. My wife had the Mac & cheese bites and risotto with chicken that was great. Overall the food and server were excellent and I would recommend this place to friends and family.“

“Arguably the best restaurant in Patchogue. Every menu item I have had there has been delicious. The chicken crust pizza truly sets them apart as it is something that is not offered anywhere else. It is a menu item that I look forward to having every time I visit there.
It has a vibe unto itself as it is a great place to watch a game at the bar (happy hour is Monday to Friday 4-7 pm) or take your family to enjoy a meal at a table.
The staff there is always amicable and welcoming. The staff is yet another reason as to why I keep going back there.“

“Recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday here. After researching many venues in the area we landed with the Grille. Jenn (the event coordinator) was extremely friendly, professional and informative from the moment I called her to inquire about the space. The venue is a dual space. You have the catering room as well as the bar area where there are pool tables and a dart board. Perfect for our guests in their 20s. The food and staff were amazing. I cannot rave enough about Amy, Jenn, Steve, Ernesto and Sabrina. They were all so helpful and accommodating during our event. Jenn was extremely attentive and made sure we had all our desires fulfilled, up until the morning of the party. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Book them! You won’t regret it!“

“Lived near this place and drove past it a million times for 10 yrs now... never went in. My hubby has with friends a few times. Wanted to get a bite so I suggested going there... glad we did! “food is always big portions and usually very good! penne aka vodka is my favorite along with the wraps. they definitely need to work on the zucchini chips though which are more like medallions than chips lol so thick you can’t even bite through them.“

“Came here for Sunday of the holiday weekend. Great atmosphere and awesome service. There were two bartenders, both super friendly. The guy bartender was dressed in an awesome 4th costume, and made us the BEST rocket fuels. I would come again just for him. He made our experience amazing and was not only friendly but very accommodating. Come here!!!“

“James, owner of Mallory Square was absolutely wonderful Supporting the Sayville Library as they had a bake sale near his restaurant down by the ferry. He additionally. donated for a second fundraiser
Mallory is a cute Spot with a casual indoor outdoor bar and dining area. It is just steps from the Pines and Cherry Grove Ferries, making it great for a missed ferry or in between ferries. Heidi has been there for years and is simply wonderful behind the bar. The food is excellent. It is tasty, quick and handy or sandwiches you can sit for.
And James is simply over the moon! Thank you for supporting the Sayville Library.“
