“Let me tell you I got toSaxawoods at 10:35 pm they close at 11:00pm they asked for a cover charge and I am a regular customer that is really not a good business situation omg they are that hard up. There food is good I do enjoy it but as far as business they are not too Professional“

Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. “I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. If you adore a good glass with a beautiful dinner/ brunch with exceptional service. Look no further.“

“This place was down the street from my daughter's house where I was visiting and I had the pleasure of going there several times while in town for the New York Knicks parade! What an awesome atmosphere! Robert, the bartender was so inviting, and even though he had a lot going on with so many other customers, he seemed to handle everything with a smile and enthusiasm! Robert definitely made my time at The Bronx Alehouse a memorable one! Big shout out to Gabriel and Miles who took care of me when I placed my order on two different visits and were both flawless in their treatment of me!
No the manager Chelsea truly helped me to have a great experience and literally knew, my name upon my second visit, which made me feel at home! She also immediately exchanged my food order because I had a slight complaint about the fish tacos without blinking an eye! I will say that the 9% IPA (Unibroue La Fin Du Monde) suggested by Robert what's truly on point and my beer of choice going forward! I also had the medium bone in carolina barbecue and pineapple teriyaki chicken wings with their onion rings, and it was to die for! Then, the next day I had there habanero wings and took those back with me to Tampa, Florida! I am originally from New York City and it's people like Chelsea, Miles, Gabriel and Robert that make me proud to be a New Yorker because of their outstanding service and attention to detail and willingness to put a smile on people's face and also make their taste buds happy! “My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. I had the wings, steam fish, vegetables and more and everything were properly prepared and delicious. I was surprised that the food and drinks cost less than most other restaurants. “Every time I go to last stop it’s a time. From their $2 Tuesday, lit Saturday or calm Sunday it’s always a time. Jonathan is the best bartender friendly, attentive and yes the drinks hit. I can’t not shoutout Kayla between the sexy attire (and I’m a straight woman) she is helpful understand the menu and a whole vibe 10/10 recommend. If you’re ever uptown stop by you won’t be disappointed. Great drinks and food.“

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us“

“Came here on Wednesday night and I WAS SOOOOOOO IMPRESSED! First, everything is so clean and well organized! We had a party of 7 without a reservation and we were nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get our table. The manager was super accommodating and made room for our party despite already being packed. We were sat right away and service was quick to attend us. We all ordered drinks right away that were nicely garnished and the drinks were all freshly made (no pre-made mixers). We ordered the strawberry flavored hookah and were very pleased with the quality of the hookah and how attentive the hookah boy was. Our food came out fairly fast. I ordered the seafood platter and had 0 complaints, the amount of food for the price was a total surprise! Living in Miami I am used to the large price for a small amount of food. This was not the case! The flavor was very good! They obviously have a server that knows exactly what he is doing. This is my new favorite place and will be back soon!“

While I wouldn't go so far as to say the service is rude, it certainly isn't friendly or inviting. Just very matter of fact with no personality. Limited space but they do have a few tables and a "bar top" to sit and eat. On street metered parking.“
