“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.”

“By far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to! Excellent service- food made to order. Chicken Scarpiello was so flavorful with a lot of garlic, herbs and a touch of lemon. Penne Ala Vodka one of the best I have ever tasted! Chicken Verde was so tender it melted in your mouth!!”

“From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels like a classic, welcoming neighborhood pizzeria. The decor is charming and nostalgic, featuring vintage signage and a cozy layout that adds a great touch to the overall dining experience.
The food was truly excellent. While everything behind the counter looked tempting, the ravioli slice was the absolute highlight for me. It was perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce and a crust that had just the right amount of crunch. It is not often you find a specialty slice executed this well, and the quality of the ingredients really shines through in every bite”

“We (party of 4) had an fabulous meal - I loved the salmon, my husband demolished his short rib pizza, and my brother and his wife raved about the chicken tikka masala - wonderful flavors and beautifully presented (Jay’s balls were scrumptious too). Our server suggested great wine pairings. Upscale quaint pub like setting - perfect restaurant in a perfect little town. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Yesterday I was rushing like normal, but I went to Dunkin’ Donuts to get an iced coffee and I accidentally left my wallet with all my money in it. I showed up the next day and before I could even ask for if they remembered exactly who I was and returned my wallet to me with everything in it. The employees are extremely honest and polite here. “Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!”

The chicken with rice was incredibly satisfying with generous portions, and the ramen was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor.
