“Went on a wonderful walk with my wife and at the end of the walk was this diner. I have live in Rochester for 41 years and I have never been. Well it's great. The service was on point and the food was as well. I can't wait to go back!“

“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Carnegie wine bar. We love the place. It was my 5th time there. We decided to try and get a seat at the bar on a very busy Sat night. When We walked in, there were 2 seats open. Couldn’t have gotten luckier. Meal was amazing! My favorite dish is the whipped ricotta with charred sour dough bread. I get it every time I’ve gone. The wine selections are immense. Service impeccable. But this time we had an over the top experience. Mike, the owner/host, asked us if we’re going to Mama Mia that night. We said no, but were thinking of getting last minute tickets because we were celebrating our 1st Anniversary. Mike gave us 2 tickets for that night’s show. We were so surprised by the act of kindness. Couldn’t have been more excited. When we got to the auditorium, our seats were in 6th row! What an awesome Anniversary we had. Thank you to Carnegie cellars wine bar and kitchen., we are definitely going to have to pay it forward!“

“This space was amazing! It was stress free to book and to plan my event. Everyone was so helpful and our bartender, Hilery was fantastic. We definitely had more than enough space for all our guests and the venue didn't even need any extra decorations. We had plenty of time to set up and take down. All afternoon my guests were telling me Fairport Brewing was a wonderful place to have a party. I am sure if I need to have a party again, I will definitely come here. The only downside (and it's not really big) is some people had a hard time finding it. In my invite I made sure to tell everyone it is not in Fairport but University Ave. I also wish there was a sign hanging on the front of the venue so people definitely could see it as they drive back. The negative is not even a real negative, just a suggestion. It really was a wonderful time.“

“Visited because I came across their Instagram posts and felt like going for a light road trip. Was genuinely shocked with how clean, well organized, and delicious this restaurant was. Clearly a hidden gem because their exterior is very unassuming. Very clean bathroom, and the food was fairly priced considering the quality. Will come again.“

“Small cafe tucked in on Monroe Street, my first visit, personally I only go for hot tea, but today I went for hot sweet, boiled, frothy milk, dusted with cocoa, and some sugar gummy like square in a tooth pick, on the side. I was biting this sugar cube, in between my sips of milk. This cube had flavor of rose water and kewra, a familiar taste for me, it's used for flavor in sweet things in India. It was fun. I loved the place, quite, simple, place.“

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“Jenny's quickly became a regular Saturday morning treat for my fiance and I. The staff have always been very kind, and I think they've started recognizing us ar regulars, which is always fun. The drinks are so tasty, it's one of the two best chai lattes in the Rochester area in my opinion! My fiance adores the melon breads and we both enjoy the beef sausage bread. The croffles are also to die for! Definitely worth the trip.“

Dishes are hearty and vegetable forward, plus there was a fabulous appetizer of spiced sultanas, nuts, and what I think were freshly battered/fried chickpeas. “Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“
