“Went for breakfast. They had fun fall offerings like pumpkin pancakes. I had sausage, eggs and hash browns. It was good. I asked to be sat by the window to watch my dog in the car but they were unable to accommodate me because it would have been moving server sections. I was a little frustrated with how that was handled but they offered me water to go at check out for my dog“

“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

Al Pastor tacos are the best of them all. Parking is not the best but there are spots on the surrounding streets. Will be back again and again.“

The lady taking orders could’ve been less rude, she seemed annoyed, no kind of greeting just “What do you want”, no “you’re welcome” when I thanked her after she took my order, thanked again when she handed me my order and met with silence. I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. “This was a 1980’s music themed 60th birthday party with local and out of town attendees. It was fantastic in all regards! The venue was awesome, everything was well organized, the bartender was great and the 1980’s themed cocktails that they created were a huge hit! I was planning a big entrance as Joan Jett singing I love rock and roll (karaoke) and am not tech savvy. I wanted to understand the sound system, app, and mic’s and was nervous about whether it would work for what I wanted to do. I contacted Kristin (the event coordinator) in a panic the day before the party and she and Tim (the owner) called me so that Tim could explain things and reassure me which he succeeded in doing! He was also there at the start of the event to go through things with me and make sure everything was set which alleviated my anxiety and let the *epic* performance go without a hitch, setting the tone for a wonderful night. It was a great space and set up and everyone had a great time!“

“I’m embarrassed to say this was my husband and mines first time here being that the restaurant has been around for 20 years! Nevertheless, we couldn’t be happier to have stumbled upon such a low key, humble and delicious restaurant. The parking is a bit difficult as the lot is free but very tight. We had dinner here and from the chai tea to the plates we had (stew, salad, plantain fritters, gnocchi and greens), everything was flavourful, perfectly spiced and delicious. The pricing isn’t bad at all either. They prefer cash payment, but they fo take card. Highly recommend for anyone following a vegan/plant-based/vegetarian diet, since the menu is entirely friendly to these diets. We will definitely be back!“

“My girlfriends and I love going to Original Steve's Diner in Victor. The restaurant has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs and they give excellent attention and service to patrons. The owner John and his wife Elizabeth have truly mastered the art of upscale diner cuisine. Although many people love the ultra delicious pancakes, I was ecstatic when they added crepes. The cheesecake crepes with berries paired with a side of bacon are the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. I will definitely be a regular customer.“

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“I’ve always had wonderful experiences at this crumbl location, on both sides of the counter! As a die-hard crumbl fan, I like this location the best in Rochester. This week I tried the Dubai chocolate cookie with crispy pistachio, it was simply fantastic. The cookies are always beautiful, and I’ve always had kind and prompt service from staff. “Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.

This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.

The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.

There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.“

“My husband and I went for the first time and we loved the atmosphere. The food and the beers were amazing, and the rest of the staff was very attentive and friendly.
There was only one small detail: we ordered a cauliflower dish and, while the waitress was bringing it upstairs to our table, I noticed she picked up a piece of cauliflower from the plate with her hand and ate it. I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t a big deal for us, but it is something that should be handled more carefully.
That being said, I am still giving this place 5 stars. One bad action by a single waitress should not be a reason to disqualify the great atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the excellent service provided by the rest of the employees. We would definitely come back.“

All 3 of the ones we ordered had the same intensity of banana. None of the smoothies names would indicate a banana forward flavor other than the SB. Disappointing at the price point“
