“Went on a wonderful walk with my wife and at the end of the walk was this diner. I have live in Rochester for 41 years and I have never been. Well it's great. The service was on point and the food was as well. I can't wait to go back!“

“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

“It is so hard to find a great spot to eat,enjoy,and be comfortable, search no more. I have only eaten at this place twice, but both times have not been disappointed. Khalid, the owner, is very friendly and very good, always the first face to see,and very pleasant. Food is always fresh omg I'm so happy for that alone,and the price is complimentary. I feel satisfied and happy after my purchase. I must say I stepped out my comfort zone of dining out,and found a jewel I will be returning.Im excited to keep trying new items from the menu which now is several items and everyone has been great. “We had the most wonderful experience at Carnegie wine bar. We love the place. It was my 5th time there. We decided to try and get a seat at the bar on a very busy Sat night. When We walked in, there were 2 seats open. Couldn’t have gotten luckier. Meal was amazing! My favorite dish is the whipped ricotta with charred sour dough bread. I get it every time I’ve gone. The wine selections are immense. Service impeccable. But this time we had an over the top experience. Mike, the owner/host, asked us if we’re going to Mama Mia that night. We said no, but were thinking of getting last minute tickets because we were celebrating our 1st Anniversary. Mike gave us 2 tickets for that night’s show. We were so surprised by the act of kindness. Couldn’t have been more excited. When we got to the auditorium, our seats were in 6th row! What an awesome Anniversary we had. Thank you to Carnegie cellars wine bar and kitchen., we are definitely going to have to pay it forward!“

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “Lovely place to sample and enjoy some local hard ciders. Sitting on the patio looking out from their perch on a hill is so nice. They have nice and different selections so getting a flight to share...or get your own...is a great idea. They also have a few snack/ appetizer items. We had the pretzel and 3 dips which was very good and a generous size. The personnel were all very friendly and informative. Spending a spell there on a lovely day I highly recommend.“

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

All of the staff were super helpful and friendly ? the food was also very delicious - I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and my boyfriend had the IBC burger. The onion rings were so good too! There are a variety of beers, as the name would suggest, but I loved the Three Brothers cider that is currently on the menu.“

“Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“

“First time there - the food is AMAZING! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. So reminiscent of El Ricon, but yet different. Huge and intriguing menu. The quesadillas are so delicious as are the sopes, & chile rellenos..the flan is creamy & caramel and the chocolate dulce de leche is sinful. If you haven’t been - GO… does not disappoint! I’ll be back for sure.“

“The ultimate in Park Avenue dining and drinking was the perfect spot for spending a couple hours with our family between a wedding and the reception recently. Great conversation comes easily in the laid back atmosphere whether you take a table inside, outside or at the bar. Highly recommend... it's not often that a place is both a favorite of mom and dad AND their young adult children...but ROAM has been defying norms and succeeding fantastically for well over a decade. There's a reason for that. Great food, great drinks, great service. It doesn't get better than ROAM.“
