“Terrific dinner experience traveling through Rochester! Our server, Jenny was amazing! Friendly, efficient and fun. Every meal came out quick and hot. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place and will be back. Would give this rating a 5 star but it doesn’t let me!”

“Arguably one of the best restaurants in Rochester! I've been here twice so far and every time it's a wonderful experience. The food is unreal and the ambiance of the restaurant is incredibly well done. Can't wait for our next visit.”

“AMAZING!!! This was by far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. This was my first visit as I'm in town for work. When I got to the restaurant I wasn't sure which sandwich I wanted. I was debating between the club, the french chick, and the spicy chick. When I told the cashier what I was pondering, a young lady prepping chicken for the fryer overheard me and immediately suggested the spicy club and she nailed it! I ordered the sandwich to go and when I got back to my hotel room and opened the container I was blown away by the size of the sandwich/ breast. It was huge. The Texas toast was toasted to perfection crispy on the outside tender in the middle, the chicken breast was seasoning was well balanced with the right amount of heat to give it a nice kick without overwhelming the taste of the chicken. It was perfectly fried golden brown and crispy. Oh and I almost forgot to mention how much I also enjoyed the mac and cheese for my side. If I ever make it back to upstate New York this is priority must stop for me!!!”

“So, so good! Parking lot behind restaurant, super cute casual spot for tasty, authentic Mexican food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the birria tacos with sides of rice and refried beans, birria quesadilla, Mexican bowl, elote corn (a little too sweet for me), horchata drink, hibiscus Agua Fresca, and tamarind agua fresca. After we ate we shared a piece of flan--outstanding! Cannot wait to go back frequently. Owner Jesus and the other male staff (I didn't get his name) were beyond friendly.”

“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with my wife. Berry salad was the perfect starter. Lobster ravioli with white wine cream sauce and langoustine lobster tails was scrumptious. I had the cioppino special and the broth was spiced just right for dipping with the garlic bread pieces. Clams, calamari, and mussels were tender and tasty. Salmon was a nice addition. We let our server make several wine choices that we enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. Pistachio cake dessert was a nice finish. We will return soon to try the honey lemon scallops and several of the shareables.Highly recommended!”

“The food is great and so is everything else. I'm just picky about the hygiene part. As in whoever is preparing the food having to change gloves if they touched anything expect food like cash or card. There are issues concerning that but other than that like said it's all good.”

“It's a very cute, hidden restaurant with great food. By far, the best hummus I've ever had. I've liked their other food too but the first thing I'd recommend is hummus.”

“Easily my favorite Vegan restaurant/Cafe in the Rochester area. The staff is super friendly and if they mess anything up they will fix it. The atmosphere is great a nice and cozy place to sit in and eat. The baked good are to die for as well as their specialty sandwiches. I recommend this to anyone in the area vegan or not. Food is easily the best I've eaten.”

“I don't know why I never noticed this place before, but it caught my eye as I was out running errands- so we took advantage of the work holiday and went for a late lunch. First of all, we both had the pig bourbon smash wish was EXCELLENT! I had the the Pig burger - an 8oz beef patty, seared in duck fat, tarragon aioli, bacon, brie, field mix, tomato jam, sourdough - so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more things!”

“Peels On Wheels does great vegan pizza! The toppings are extremely high quality. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but they had this kind of sundried sweet red bell pepper that was out of this world. I had that New York style with shallots, banana pepper rings, and vegan pepperoni. The owner works in the kitchen alongside his employees and really cares about producing superior pizza. Their pies are so much better than what you'll get ordering from a chain!”

“We "ate in" at this small but bustling restaurant. it appears that many of the orders were to-go. The food was freshly prepared and quickly delivered To our table, the three men behind the counter were extremely busy, preparing food and taking orders. My husband had the vegetarian platter and I had the dolma platter both served with huge fluffy pita bread. The pita bread is one of the best I've had. my Dolma platter, came with a small Greek salad, and a little scoop of hummus. The dolma were very good as they were spiced. There was a drink case, but not much of a variety of drinks. However, they did have some exotic ones. There was also baklava and takeout containers. I think they should use reusable tableware when you're dining in instead of a packet of small plastic utensils, so I think they are really a to go operation. The food was served on dinner plates so they must have a way of washing things. This is a good stop for a quick meal or a takeout.”

“Absolutely great. From the people, to the design, to the food; of course. We had not been before last night which was a shame as I guess we stick to our normal places too much. But from the moment we walked in, every staff member was a absolute delight.Scott our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We started with the REDD Wings. They are Thai Chili coated with sesame seeds and spring onions. They were perfectly cooked with an amazing crunch. We couldn't have been more happy with the perfect balance of sweet and heat, and the decadent flavor.Personally I was torn between two specials, and the classic steak on offer on the regular menu. The one special was basically a comfort food; the classic beer battered fish fry, which ultimately Scott recommended since it was a special that is only available during Lent. This choice was amazing. He was right in that it was a basic fish fry, but elevated. The fish was tender and flaky, with a perfect beer battered shell that had a great crunch. The fries were great and handcut with a pillowy softness to them, but the tartar sauce was absolutely killer. And while the fish fry was an absolute stand out on its own; that tartar sauce just pushed it to the stratosphere! Get this if you see it on their menu.My wife got the Wild Fluke with Clams. The presentation of the dish was amazing, with a creamy sauce, tender clams, a flaky fish, and a rice base that absolutely was creamy and delicate holding onto the sauce. She usually sticks to basics, but went off her beaten path, and she was glad she did.For drinks we tried a couple of their specialty ones. My wife had the spicy margarita which was amazingly complex, and not too spicy. But it is a back of the throat spice if that sort of thing bothers you. I had the Negroni which was great as well. I've found you can tell a bartenders skill based on how well blended their Negroni is, and this one was masterfully crafted. Before I get to the deserts, their desert spoons have what seem to be a dent in them. It's supposed to be there. It's a French Sauce/Desert spoon that is supposed to allow the sauce or glaze of a desert enter the spoon without having to tip it too far and lose your bite on the utensil. Also, you may notice a small fork with a thick tine on it. That's a desert/pastry fork. The thicker tine is meant to replace you having to use a knife to cut the cake or pastry. The more you know. For desert was the decadent chocolate cake for my wife. It was rich and creamy with a scoop of ice cream. Great stuff. I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding which was fantastic as well, with the same requisite scoop of ice cream. So, after all that, just to once again say, this restaurant and it's food and people are well worth the visit. If you haven't been due to sticking with your normal haunts, you owe it to yourself to try it. Or, if you just only do a nice yearly sit down for a special occasion, make it here. After my friends and family all raving about REDD, I just wish my wife and I had tried it sooner.”

“Our first time here and we would definitely go back. There was so much on the menu we wanted to try. We ended up getting a bunch of small plates, all of which were excellent. My favorite, though, was the octopus. It was outstanding. The service was excellent as well.”

“They use decent ingredients compared to other take out style pizza places. Prices are competative. To get better pizza you need to go to a mid priced Italian restaurant. If u want to eat in there are a few tables, it's not just take out.”

“This is absolutely my favorite spot in Brighton and one of my favorites in the Rochester area. The food is great and of good quality, the prices are fair and the family that runs this establishment are some of the most sincere and genuine people you will ever meet. I've been going for a couple years now, and my whole family and every friend I've ever taken here also love Carmen's Cooking. 11/10”

“Parkside is a great NW of Rochester breakfast stop!I frequent this little joint with friends and family for its' amazing hollandaise sauce and constantly HOT breakfast plates! The food is fresh, simple, and done right! If they could offer an upgrade to their coffee bar (for example, an espresso machine) I think it would only increase their already booming business.I'm grateful for their fair pricing and quick turn arounds--because of these things and more; Parkside is always packed!I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because I think the place needs a deep clean and a little updating. This in no way detracts from the locals or my own overall satisfaction with Parkside! I happen to know from personal restaurant experience that it seems they could do better with profit turn around, and it would be worth the investment of continuing to update their diner. People love it here so why not expand, or renovate? What can I say, Parkside Diner is a ringer!”
