“I've been to two separate MFC restaurants in Queens and neither of them could compare to this place. The service was pretty fast and very good, with someone who I believe to be the manager/owner even coming around to ask us if we needed anything. In typical MFC fashion, the food was delicious. The soy garlic boneless tenders and spicy wings are out of this world, and the Parmesan truffle fries were good too. The prices for the food aren't even bad either, I can't think of a single thing wrong with this particular chain. The Plainview location is my new spot, and I'll gladly make the 25 mile trek from Queens to eat here rather than at Forest Hills.Sidenote: I believe they're having some sort of anniversary celebration on 3/1/24. If you're reading this before the date passes, definitely check it out.“

You wouldn't normally expect to have a Greek-Mexican fusion restaurant but this one is amazing! I highly recommend getting their stuffed poblano peppers (stuffed with Cauliflower as I'm vegetarian) - 11/10! They even have mocktails and I recommend the mango mule - which I absolutely loved! “This bar was originally under a different name then it closed and recently reopened with a new name. Inside it looks like absolutely nothing was changed. Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars.The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“

It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“
“Attended a large party at the Irish Poet for my establishment's annual holiday party. For apps, there were chafing dishes of chicken tenders, wings, and pigs in the blanket. I preferred the chicken tenders as the wings and pigs got a bit soggy. Then we were presented with mains: salad, penne a la vodka, chicken franchise, and sliced steak (almost like pot roast), along with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. The highlights were the steak, potatoes, and vegetables. Most dishes were lukewarm at best. I like my salad dressing on the side, and a thicker vodka sauce. The salad had so much dressing it wilted the lettuce. For dessert, Italian cookies were served but there were hardly enough to go around. I realize a lot of people skip dessert but it wasn't a good look to be short. Overall, I think a few adjustments to the food should be made in the future. That being said, Amy was a fantastic server. In fact, all of the staff/bartenders were attentive, taking orders, and cleaning up.“

Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks.There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. I had already visited their location in Boston with her so I had idea what I wanted which is a family style menu. I love their family style menu with this you get food a plenty. You can practically eat all night and they will keep on bringing you food.The only thing I will advise is when you go here do not eat lunch or breakfast that day or you will be sorry. The food is amazing you’re gonna eat more but if you had lunch or breakfast, you will not be able to eat as much as you want to, so my friend come hungry.The menu it starts with the salad options are the Maggiano salad or the Caesar salad . I always take both but I don’t focus on the salads because what’s coming is more amazing.For starters, I love love and love the stuffed mushrooms. Always very nice. Very delicious. it’s a vegetarian option, but taste every bite. The second choice for starters for me is the simple bruschetta, the bread is crunchy and the ingredients nice.The main course we ordered chicken piccata, which is my usual go to in an Italian restaurant . I firmly believe you cannot screw up chicken piccata and these guys certainly don’t they delivered pretty well. Good job with the lemon sauce in the base which gives the chicken the flavor. My son could not stop eating it.When they say they are famous for the rigatoni I agree with them 110%, the creamy sauce in the rigatoni makes hell of a difference very hard to describe. It’s a little bit salty little bit Tangy, and very creamy.The four cheese ravioli was cooked amazing, the serving was delightful, looked nice. my daughters could not stop eating it. It was very delicious.Dessert sampler is the bonus in the family style financially speaking. They give you five desserts on a board, the sizes are decent certainly more than just a flavor of those desserts. it is quite a good mix. Love the crème brûlée in there. I like it because the sugar balance in it is just not too much not too low.For the amount of food you get it’s more than worth it . Some might call it expensive at $40.99 per adult but for the amount of food they give you it is more than worth it, not only you can get as many refills as you want as you keep on finishing food and whatever you don’t finish you can take it home. “Ordered from this place for the 1st time and eventhough i only live about 10 minutes away it took the uber driver 23 minutes to get the order to me..... even with that being said, the food came hot and it was delicious. The only thing i wish is that they would supply the utensils needed to crack open the crabs but if you have some industrial scissors and a good hammer and forks you can make it work. I would absolutely recommend this place even for ordering if you live near by it is worth it. next time i want a seafood boil i will go to this location in person to be able to experience the restaurant itself, the staff, and the service.“

“I have been coming to the Little Lounge for over 15 years. I have established friendships and even consider the staff and customers as my family. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks are great and the prices are just right. The staff is personable and attentive to all customers and provide excellent customer service! Highly recommend for people to give it a try. “Although they have food, I've yet to try it, as we usually only stop by on the way home for one last drink and/or coffee after BBQing on the beach. The service is always very personable, and my boyfriend absolutely loves this place; he talked about the Gilgo Inn all throughout the off-season when we first met before I finally got the chance to visit with him.They're cash only, but they have an ATM ($3 service fee). All the seating is outside, but there's a TV inside as well as framed photos of how the place used to look, including some shots of it submerged in water following a storm some years back.The coffee is good, and the drinks are alright and won't break the bank. I think the cocktails were around $10 apiece. There are proper bathrooms across the parking lot, too.“

We sat at the bar (in which you can eat as well).Now I won't pretend to be a beer connoisseur. Aside from 'cheap' beer, I'm more of a mixed drink guy. I don't know a thing about 'IPAs' or any of that. That being said, for those who do like beer, there are plenty of options in that regard. For those more like me with regular drinks, the bar had more than enough in selection.The lighting wasn't good, so I wasn't able to take menu snaps - but the menu had a good general selection. I went for the 'Thomas Jefferson' burger (w/ fries) and it was very tasty. I did see someone else order a Bavarian pretzel, so next time I'm here I'm going to have to try that. Really, the burger was so tasty I'd definitely try other things for sure.The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and frankly real good. The staff in general were all good.There were several TV's showing an assortment of things.This place shares the space with other businesses and there is a lot to park. The lot is a little smaller side, but you should be able to find a spot.Overall a comfortable place with a good staff and food/drink options - a nice bar in the area and one I'd easily return to.“

They had a solid crew of locals and regulars who come just for karaoke and the regular bar crowd. Everyone was very supportive and into it. The inside seating is great for colder weather with a view... but when the weather is nice, you can't beat dining right on the water. There are tables along 2 docks to eat at. There are also seats and bar stands directly on the beach below the dock. There is also an adult area and a family friendly area! The sunsets are unbeatable if you go at the right time. They also decorate very well and the lights look beautiful! The drinks are good and the service is great with a very kind, attentive staff. The parking situation is an absolute nightmare if you don't live in the area, and the wait times can be very long during peak season. Definitely plan accordingly! If this review was based solely on food, I'd likely give my Surf & Turf meal a 3/5. It was good, but not anything special. The side of broccoli was almost completely raw. Overall, Buoy Bar is such a cool place and I'd absolutely recommend coming here for some apps and drinks and enjoying the views!“

We have never had a meal we didn't enjoy! The wings are great the only problem is their are too many sauces to choose from. My girlfriend and kids love the burgers but my absolute favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla. I order it with an extra side of sauce. “Had lunch here with my mother and aunt on a Thursday afternoon. I did not expect to have probably the best Octopus dish I've ever had. Really spectacular. Perfectly balanced flavor and texture, and the cook on the Octopus itself was spot on. I would return just based on that alone. We had French onion soup which was very solid. Excellent fried chicken thigh sandwich. Good chicken quesadilla, and a really good short rib bolognese. Didn't love the pasta choice with that which was cavatelli. My personal opinion/preference would be a pappardelle or tagliatelle to make the short rib more of the star. The cavatelli was a little too dense and fought against the short rib. I've been coming to this place for several years now, and it's nice to have had one of the better meals I've had there this far into their run. Kudos to the kitchen and the front of the house.“

“So we went into corner Galley at 815 (close at 9 on Sundays) but they were done seating so we went to runyons... We decided if Matty was behind the bar we'd sit with him but it wasn't so we sat at a table with Sabie. Service and food were wonderful, we both did the pasta night. Wife had the carbonara and I had the eggplant. We also got an order of calamari, which was awesome but waaaayyyy to much food for just the 2 of us. Food was great, service was great, place was vibing with the Nfc championship game on and people in the bar having fun. Great overall experience.“
