“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Very kind workers, very good customer service. I asked for day-old bagels to give to volunteers for a service project, and they gave them to me without hesitation. South Shore Bagels has very good deals to buy bagels in bulk and I would recommend South Shore Bagels to anyone across Long Island.“

“This place has unfortunately declined in quality since the first time I came here 9 years ago, I used to come here mainly for their French fry slices, but after having one recently, its a very disappointing slice. It wasn't the best like it used to be, just okay honestly. the French fries were extremely dry and there was very little cheese and sauce that it was just dry French fries on some pizza crust. Very disappointing considering it was a little over $11 for only 2 slices. Unfortunately, I can't justify coming back here, even if it is a very sentimental spot to me. Sad to see it in this state, hopefully they use better ingredients and put more love into everything in the future.“

The food is prepared so well and it's so nice that they have some feature meals that change with the seasons and take advantage of what produce are available. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. The noise level was perfect and I chose it because my niece has hearing challenges and we can count on the perfect ambiance for an enjoyable evening.“

“Walked in, seated immediately, told wait staff we had about 45 minutes to eat and she was EXCEPTIONAL! Ordered one of the chicken press w/ cheese tomato & guac and it was great! Fries too. GF bun for wife was meh. Got in & out in 45 minutes. Reasonable prices & good portions as we each went home with extra food. Highly recommend!

“We cannot possibly rave enough about Fat Boy’s Burrito. We waited for them to open and since they finally came to our area in 2022 they do not disappoint. Previously, most of our experience was with dining in at the restaurant and picking up take out orders. The food is always a home run. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. We recently hosted a party and ordered catering- there was an abundance of food that was delivered hot, set up for us, and the quality matched the presentation. Our guests left full (and with to go containers). Placing the order was seamless and any question we had was answered immediately and with care. We will definitely be placing future catering orders.“

I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. “Some of the Greatest smoothies I've ever had. I'm being completely serious when I say they live up to their name. You could get a medium, which is 32oz...for only $10. $10! Other places would charge less for more. And not only that, each smoothie is full of flavor, filling, and great to get & go if you're looking for smth quick. I was drinking a medium for like, 5 minutes, non stop, and barely got a quarter way through the cup. Amazing place, amazing smoothies and amazing spoons (I just like how they're packaged). 10/10, would live there if I could.“

“We had Thanksgiving dinner here with my two boys. The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was amazing . The food was beyond what I expected. Well done!!!! “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“Best hamburger hotdog place that serves great beer near Hosfstra University. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“
