“Had the pleasure of my wife and I returning to one of our Islands restaurants, Isola last night and was really pleased. It’s nice to begin thinking of enjoying local restaurants after a summer of visitors, guests and other obligations. Really enjoyed the Cioppino with pasta. Sauce was wonderful, rich but not heavy and overbearing. It was filled with seafood, including shrimp, octopus, squid and shellfish. Totally enjoyable nice portion, so that I had enough to take home for lunch the next day. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish special served over various vegetables. It was prepared to perfection and the caper sauce complemented the entire dish. Really nice place to enjoy that is “affordable”.“

“Update: Went back their 1st day open again (March 28 2024).. and of course, had my favorite mezzo app! ? That pita bread ?Sam was great as always but one thing that did happen was a credit card charge on receipt but we paid cash. It says CC service charge. We just asked about it and then she said she forgot to take it off so we just told her if she took it off to just keep it as part of the tip we already left.Also we ordered mussels but felt like we took out a lot of empty shells. We found some in the broth but was alot of empty more than would be. Enough that we both questioned it. so we will try again.B loves the cornbread. I just remember the key lime pie I had last year for my bday. Yum!OLD REVIEW: I thought I already left a review but realized I didn't. This was my favorite discovery last Summer and I kept coming back bringing different people! I got sad to see it was temporarily closed but it is scheduled to open today and we are coming! ? “Visited Greenport for me and my girlfriend's anniversary, stopped here for some drinks and pizza not expecting too much and were honestly blown away. The owner helped us out in picking cocktails based on our likes and dislikes and they all turned out amazing. The pizza was delicious with many different topping options and you could tell they were made fresh. This place is an awesome little spot in Greenport and I cannot recommend enough. *Ps: mashed potatoes, bacon and caramelized onions on a white pie...just trust me“

“This is up there for best meal I've had. For appetizers we got a dozen of the East coast oysters which were very fresh and sweet, The Naughty Blu was very good and, when asked, got a generous amount of extra blue cheese olives, the Apple Bread Pudding was amazing and a decent size. But the star of the meal was the Local Flounder Francaise. The fish was flaky and well seasoned, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the beurre blanc sauce was nice and rich. Overall, *french kiss*. Giving 4 stars though because, while our server was nice and attentive, they didn't know whether one dessert had nuts in it or not, which one person in our party was allergic to. Luckily, before she ate it we luckily caught it in time. But with nut allergies being so serious and common you should know what does or does not have nuts in it.“

“The food, vibe and service were all A+ at Alpina. Everything we tried from the Swiss beer, to the entrees to the desserts was excellent. Extremely fresh food, kind and attentive staff and very cool and cozy atmosphere inside. Already can’t wait to go back!“

“We are NoFo regulars. While we typically try to avoid the crowds, we decided to go for drinks at the black Llama in the off season. It was amazing. Such a cool vibe. GREAT (imaginative!) drinks in a world where everyone thinks they are a mixologist. we may even go back during the busy summer season-we liked it so much!“

“This is the first time that we tried this restaurant, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The food was exceptional as well as the atmosphere! The service was impeccable, and the waitress was attentive The calamari was very very good and well prepared as well as the baked clams, even though we didn’t have heavy meals we had salads with grilled chicken and it was very good. I’m glad that we ordered a dessert which was gelato with espresso poured over it. Great way to end a very good meal definitely will be returning! A++++“

“I love this place! I always get soba noodles w an egg in it and 2 avocado rolls so delicious I will never change my option. The food comes quick! The waiters r very nice. I will always return here. I highly recommend this place if u like Japanese “

“I think the best reason to eat at Claudio‘s is that it's been Claudio's since 1860! It's a beautiful ambience, water view, the best location one could have in a charming town. The food was good, not outstanding, but certainly good. It wasn't pricey, about middle of the road price-wise. All in all a lovely Christmas Eve experience with my family!“
