“Fantastic! We were on a road trip heading across NY state and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch that wasn't a highway rest stop. Google led us here. We were questioning our choice when we pulled into a small strip mall with very few cars. When we walked inside, the atmosphere was wonderful though, and the food and service was spectacular! Hidden gem, this place! We had two littles with us, and they quickly offered chopstick helpers and super cool kids drinks -- a carbonated strawberry soda in a fun container. Kids were huge fans! We tried a number of special rolls and they were all spectacular. One of my favorite rolls is not fancy nor a common favorite -- sweet potato with cream cheese. I've sampled this in many many sushi restaurants, and the version at East Sushi was so good I will make an extra effort to seek it out the next time I find myself passing near Sherrill. Wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended.“
