“Stopped by this cozy coffee shop on my travels and was so pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was amazing and they honestly had me when I ordered a banana blueberry muffin and they asked if I wanted it grilled with butter... it was amazing. The owner was present and checking in on tables and super kind. 12/10 would recommend.“

“Great space! Love the old buildings! Delicious breakfast to go-Sausage and cheese omelet for the dog-she loved it! Toast was delicious! Sausage, egg and cheese on an everything was fantastic. Wanted to try a pastry but we opted for the bananas foster french toast-omg, still drooling. Very good and steps away from our hotel (Double Tree).“

“I’ve been coming to Joel’s for quite a few years (6) and they have gone from great, sub par, to not so great. Today I had the best roast pork and rice and peas in a long time! So yummmm! I also had plantains with garlic. Made to order. Fresh and delish!! Ten ten!! Cost with drink large: $17!“

“Beautiful restaurant with excellent service and impeccable food. The Delmonicos Steak is a great deal, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Like the note mentions there is a lot of fat. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the Canoli, was very plain to me.“

“Food was excellent. Staff were busy but friendly. Tom Kha soup was fantastic! They do not have traditional sushi rolls, but have a wide assortment of fancy rolls, including a number of tempura rolls. Teas were also very good. The Thai tea is practically a dessert (hot or iced). Thai, Cambodian and Laotian specialties like amok, larb, Khmer curry, all delicious. Ramen is two meals so plan to bring some home. They charge a 3% fee for credit cards, which is the same as many/most restaurants these days. Prices are fair, expect to pay $20-30 per person. Parking can be difficult but a new lot is being built nearby, so that's a temporary problem. One note: they put tip suggestions on the bill, but they base this off of the total after the CC fee and tax are added rather than the actual dinner price. Service may well be worth a few extra bucks, but this seems sneaky.Still, I would highly recommend them. Their flavors hit all the right notes.“
