Fast Food Restaurants near Sidney

“Placed an "eat here" order on the self service device by the door. Took a number , went to the table ,placed the number on the edge of the table in plain sight, and waited until another customer came over and said "I think your order is sitting up there on the rack"...
Maybe my local McDonald's has spoiled me, or given me a level of entitlement not supplied at other McDonald's, but when I do this same thing locally, they bring the food over , take the number , and all is good. If this isn't S.O.P. then maybe the McDonald's I visited today should let customers know that this level of customer service isnt the norm, and having that device at their location is essentially useless, just order at the counter and wait it out. Maybe it's me, I didn't hear our order number called , and I thank the kind gentleman who alerted me to the order just sitting there. I only question why he had to.“
