“We are extremely happy we chose this venue for our son's and daughter-in-law's Rehearsal Dinner (50 people) and Welcome Drinks (70 people) the night before their wedding. Kathleen, the proprietor, was a pleasure to deal with and was helpful with the planning. The staff was accommodating and delightful; everyone said their food was delicious and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining and special events!”

“Online order. Spring rolls, broccoli garlic sauce, pork oyster sauce. Opted for plain rice, supplied one quart. Doesn't appear to be a dine-in as multiple reviews have stated. Food was good. Very fair on the pricing as well.”

“Food is very good. Both hot or cold sandwiches are top quality and you can't go wrong. Breakfast is very good too along with there coffee. I can't forget to mention that the staff here are amazing and very helpful. This is my far my favorite deli in the Minisink area.”

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.”

“We have eaten here many times and love it so much! The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors and combinations are expertly put together, and the owner is a true showman who clearly loves the food and sharing it with the community. The danish dog is my favorite, and my husband loves the Italian sausage with onions. Even the basic chili dog is better than average, and his inventive sauces add so much flavor to the dogs that they can’t be replicated anywhere else. The building is small and it’s crowded and dingy and sometimes smoky inside, but we truly feel that it adds to the charm and makes the experience even more unique. Just go - you’ll be so glad you did!”

“Barrel 28 is a wonderful place to have an event in their private room. We recently had our daughters bridal shower there. Everyone raved about the food, which was wonderful. The wait staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. All other staff we interacted with were also great. Would definitely recommend Barrel 28 for your next party”

“I went to outbacks for the steak special on 3/23 that I seen on TV for $14 baked potatoes salad or soup & cheese cake the server said not here its 19$ then also I didn't know the restaurant offered a senior discount I just saw it on my phone to give my review why is the special only in certain cutbacks? That's mis-¹ representation the proce should be the same in all Outback Restaurants im 80 years old and I should of been aware in the restaurant of a senior discount by the way I enjoyed the dinner”

“I love this place. The beer is delicious and even if you don’t like beer, they have wine and cocktails. The servers are great. Very attentive. The food is good too. I live about an hour away but love to take a trip here when I can.”

“This is my and my family’s weekend go-to. The service is excellent. We get greeted as if we are visiting family. The staff is very attentive. The food is excellent - fresh, tasty, good portions. If you go with family, order the large platter to share. You’ll still have food to take home and it’s worth it as the cost is cheaper than buying individual gyro dishes. Without fail, we ALWAYS get the Greek nachos. We are Mexican and are ruined by these nachos and don’t even bother w regular Mexican nachos anymore. These are phenomenal! Their lemon chicken soup, burgers, fig pizza, octopus, calamari … all excellent. Don’t leave without having the Baklava cheesecake and coffee! This place is consistently wonderful. My family and I love these guys!”
