“Food is delicious, (so far I’ve had the chicken / vegetable tacos, as well as the veggie taco bowl tonight), the ambiance quaint and lovely, service highly efficient, and the prices, despite an economy plagued by inflation, were surprisingly reasonable. I have a feeling this will be my new go to…dining in or for take-out. This place is a day-brightener.“

“So happy I decided not to go home and cook. I live close by and wanted to try this restaurant for so long. I finally did it. I had the tortilla soup and the flautas. And of course chips with salsa and guacamole. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Ambiance is very nice and the music… I was singing and dancing waiting for my food. Loved it!!“

“The owner and staff were great. The burritos were delicious. My burrito was so filling that I ate half one day and the rest the next day. I DEFINITELY will go back. I do recommend and just talk to the staff about what you like and what they recommend.
I did and the choices were great.“

“Genuinely the best Mexican food I’ve had in Westchester, maybe even New York. And that’s saying something from native Californians! Tortillas and ingredients were very fresh and authentic. Prices were beyond reasonable. We’ll definitely be regular customers!“

“My son and I had the BEST time at Fiesta Acapulco in Stony Point. The food was fantastic as always, our server, Rafael treated us like royalty, the margaritas with sugar rims were fabulous (added plus we arrived for happy hour), and the entertainment was so much fun! Such a perfect evening with my handsome son! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a MUST!“

“Have been going here for 20+ years now. Food is always fast and consistent and they have the best chimichangas anywhere. I've been unable to find ones anywhere else that come close! I used to live nearby but now that i moved out of state, i always make it a point to stop here when back in the area.“

“Easily one of the best Mexican spots in Westchester. We brought the kids and they couldn’t get enough of the tacos, pupusas, and tamales. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The food is super flavorful and authentic, and the whole place has a friendly, laid-back vibe. Great for families or anyone looking for a solid Mexican spot. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I work in the neighborhood and I came across this place one day. The food is amazing, homemade, fresh and made with love.
My favorite for breakfast are eggwhites with Chorizo, hot peppers and bacon on a roll. By the way, the ladies working there are so friendly as if they are welcoming you into their home with open arms. ❤️“

“So good! Everything we ordered was delicious. My husband tried the chicken mole, and I had an al pastor burrito. We also tried the elotes. We opted to dine in, and the staff was kind and took great care of us. We will be returning to try their tacos next.“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“

“Amazing trays of 30 tacos and all veggies on the side! Plus we grabbed some Empanadas too! Today was the perfect day for us to try them since we were right at the mall! The owner was too sweet and brought us all kinds of things to try while we were waiting! The Biria was to die for and he brought us this Mexican Pizza absolutely mouthwatering! It is inside the gas station across from the Palisades! Seriously such good authentic Mexican food! He says you can even call and ask what his special is. He tries different things every week! Let's support a small local business! La Fondita Jarocha“

“We've been here three times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious—authentic and clearly made with love. It's a Mexican-owned business, which we really appreciate and are proud to support. Wendy and Rafael are wonderful hosts who make us feel like we're visiting family each time we come in. We'll definitely keep coming back!“

“Good food. Great ambiance. Friendly service. No complaints. Portions were nothing to complain about. Coconut shrimp a bit on the oily and fried side but delicious nonetheless, after all it is a fried dish. Mole enchiladas were delicious and plentiful. We'll be back.“

“As a person that grew up in a Mexican household, I’ve been to many different places and they aren’t the same as this one, this is the best Mexican restaurant in white plains, the service is good, the food is good, and if you don’t like spice then you can order anything on the menu without spice .“

“My friend and I went here for dinner 11/12/2023. We ordered beef nachos as an appetizer, delicious. He had the burrito with rice and beans. Rice needed a bit more flavor. He also had the beef tacos. I had to chicken sopes, that was delicious. Good atmosphere.“

“Words cannot begin to express the feelings I've had during my time eating at Rancho Zacatal today. The customer service alone was so amazing. I've yet to have such a great experience anywhere else like I've had today. The time taken to converse and get to know me and my wifes name and to make sure all our needs were met made us feel so welcome as if weve been here multiple times although it was our first time.If I could get this type of experience everywhere I go, the world would be a utopia. Now down to the best part of my time here the food. Put simply if i could eat this food everyday for the rest of my life i would. I was expecting a small portioned ehhh plate but that was far from it. The portions here are perfect. Since they have pictures of food the enchiladas are what caught my attention and i was expecting the plate to be nothing like the picture and i was right the pictures do the food no justice the enchiladas were so much more better than what i could have expected. The real deal for me was my wifes carne asada put simply i literally shed tears at the first bit of the asada. The plate was seasoned and cooked to perfection my wife has never finished a plate anytime we have gone out and today she could not get enough. We also decided to split a plate of quesadillas de birria me and my wife have never had this before but we were shocked at how amazing they tasted and the sauce that came with it we ended up putting it on everything. Come to find out this is a family owned shop and our servers mother made the food takes the meaning of a home cooked meal to a whole new level cause thats the type of experince you feel eating here you feel right at home. I will definitly be eating here many times to come and apperciate the experience i had here today“

“Finding QUALITY AUTHENTIC mexican food is hard in Rockland. But this place checks all the marks. No random peas or lettuce in dishes that dont have it. Great salsa verde (sometimes it is a bit spicy, so careful folks). Delicious chilaquiles. Great torta. Hand squeezed orance juice. This is a hidden gem. Somewhat easy to park.“

“The food and service are excellent. I have to give this restaurant kudos for maintaining their quality. Many restaurants are force to switch suppliers as cost have gone up. But, Tua Cocina still continues to use the finest ingredients and supplies to make their food.“

“We got to the White Plains Farmers Market a bit late and Gaucho Burger Company was already sold out! So we did one better, walked around the corner for a delicious lunch at the restaurant itself. One porcetta, chicken empanada, and a strawberry/goat cheese/field green salad and we had the PERFECT rainy, chilly day-off lunch. Delicious! DELICIOUS!!! I go to the market almost every Wednesday, but Chris had never had their food and it was a hit. New favorite!“

“Top notch Mexican food at a great price. Aquas frescas are amazing, authentic, and at least 20 fl. oz. Prices are perfect. Small dining room, but they do not cramp the tables together. Spanish-language talk shows or telenovelas on a 50" screen blare their Central- and South-American equivalents of nonsense TV. It all makes for a perfect combination of a good lunch somewhere. The food is top notch, with the chips/salsa plentiful. Want guac? It's homemade and, if I recall, $8 for a ton of it. Their plates will overwhelm you, again, for a reasonable price. Plus, seasonings are spot on.You have to go there. Tip well. I know I will again after a luncheon there once upon a random time.“

“I don't usually give reviews but this time it is necessary!
I've eaten in many Mexican places, but this is my favorite. It's one of the few that has different desserts. My husband tries them all and orders another one to take out. The portions are very good. The seasoning is very home-style and authentic. The rice is delicious, and the carrot cake is perfect. The service isn't that great since the waitress doesn't understand English, but the cook does, and she's very kind and delicate. Her English is tender. Mexican people are so nice! ❤️“
