“Food here is always delicious. My favorite is their spicy tuna roll. They have a special for 3 rolls for the price of two on certain days. My wife had the fried rice with chicken which she said was outstanding. My son loves their low mein noodles with chicken. A great selection of drinks and specials as well. We are here at least once a month and will keep coming back

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and we've been bringing our son since he was a newborn and they have always been great. He's 8 now and loves the place like we do.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has no steps so easy to get a wheelchair in without issue.“

“We had a GREAT experience. We did the 17-courses, which I highly recommend. Head Chef Chakma is very skilled, and everything he gave us was delicious.

Most notably, he took my dietary restrictions very seriously. When I told him I had celiac disease and couldn't eat gluten, he carefully prepared my portions separately from the rest. He changed his gloves each time and made thoughtful substitutions to keep my meal safe.

“We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

“A rare treat! Hands down best and freshest sushi in Albany/Capital District. We came in early on a Saturday, Todd greeted us and we had the place ourselves. The ambiance is amazing, classic photos of NY politics. We also sampled some of the pasta offerings, fantastic sauce, like Moms sunday gravy. Check it out!“

“This place is amazing. I didn't know what to expect going in to the all you can eat restaurant. I was happily surprised that it's not buffet style. Servers and bussers. The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. “We only really get bubble tea when we come through, though I plan to try their food sometime soon and will update our rating. We often get food from their sister stall across from them. But we love coming here. My son thinks their bubble tea is the best and they are the only place who can omit green tea from their fruit teas for little people who don't really need the caffeine. Very friendly, kind and accommodating people run this place and we will keep coming back for a long time.“

“The food is delicious! The boba tea (I got Taro) is not too sweet, but a perfect balance. The boba (tapioca pearls) were flavorful too. The ramen soup is scrumptious. So many different flavors. I can’t fit it all in, great portions. The pork is juicy and crispy and flavorful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. This was my second time here, getting the same thing, because it’s so good! It was a little on the expensive side (12.50 for the pork ramen, 6.50 for the boba) overall, 5 stars.“
